The location of the hotel.It was very close to the beach of Alykes.The hotel owner was very friendly.Very well decorated.The coffee place was really nice too.

There was a slight smell from the bathroom in the budget room.

Lovely homely feel to the reception, bar area and rooms. Marios is the best host ever! After a week it felt like we’d known him for years. Great location for the beach, or an exploring holiday. Central enough for bars and restaurants in Alikes as well. Free safe, and aircon, although being October we didn’t use it.

Very lovely furnished apartment! Lots of wonderful details made out of natural materials. Marios was a very warm and friendly host. He was always around and gave us helpful tips to explore the island. We highly recommend this place!

The design of the apartment was wonderfully imaginative and creative. The host Marino’s was exceptionally friendly and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. Location was great - less than a minute from beach. Right by shops and places to eat but quiet and peaceful.

No problem for us but the cooking facilities are very limited ( we ate out). Some essentials like a cloth to wipe surfaces, wash and dry cups and plates with would have been helpful.

It was lovely and modern, a great walk in shower , a large double bed and a cleaner came in every day. Marios the owner was very nice and obliging.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The host, Marios, was such a friendly person, always with a smile and very helpful, giving us tips about what to do around. The atmosphere was so lovely and cozy. It’s 50m from a beautiful beach and many stores close by. The best place to stay in Zakynthos if you want to relax and feel like home.

Everything. I don’t usually write reviews but these guys are outstanding, even after the first day it was like we were staying with friends. The cafe and rooms are super nice Location also perfect, beach round the corner

The place is great. The ambiance is cozy and feel like home. The owners are friendly and make your stay wonderful.

WiFi wasn't the best in the room, but sitting on the veranda there is no problems with connection.

Relaxation right next to the sandy, wide beach. The aesthetics and uniqueness of Kanela Studios interiors are due to Marios and Giorgos, who made the furniture by hand. A comfortable bed and original decorations as well as functionality and attention to every detail make you have a healthy and restful sleep. Daily cleaning, very good WiFi, shops and restaurants nearby. In a fantastic Kanela Cafe with ethnic music and smooth jazz, the hosts serve the best coffee and cocktails in town. The unique atmosphere, commitment and cordiality of Mario and Giorgos make your holiday special from the very first day.

The location, the feel of the room, the decorations and the amazing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and always happy to help.

Everything was great

a location located on the seafront steps from the beach the location has its own terrace where you can spend time with friends in privacy. the warmth with which the hosts treat you and the quiet area in which they are. cleanliness is very Ok, and access to restaurants, grocery stores or terraces is very easy.

Marios was the best host you could ever imagine. On their webpage they write that you arrive as a customer but leave as a friend and never has this been more true. We felt welcomed as guests, friends, family and so at home. We felt well looked after and spoiled. Marios recommended the best places to eat, the best beach, the best hike. In this way we got to experience some really unique and beautifull places. Our girls got a new greek uncle and we a friend. Thank you.
