House facilities and location is perfect with the perfect house owners

The location is hard to beat: private beach literally 5 steps from the apartment, 30 min walk to Kotor, 10 min walk to grocery stores and bakery. The apartment is in a heritage building built in the early 1900 - with thick walls that keep street noise and hot weather away (we used AC only at night). We liked the terrace - private enough for breakfast or sunbathing - and offering a nice view over the bay of Kotor. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but the matresses are very comfortable - we slept like babies :) Vjeko, the owner, is a very friendly and welcoming person - should we mention something was missing (like soap or paper towels) he would bring it right away. Not to mention he is a retired captain with plenty of stories to tell and an interesting person to talk to.

We booked the apartment as having two bathrooms while in fact there is only one full bathroom with shower on the floor with the bedrooms. The other bathroom on the ground floor does not have a shower - so basically all the bedrooms share the bathroom on the 1st floor. The apartment description on Booking.com mentions free parking while in fact the owner charges for the parking.

The house is a bit old and with suboptimal maintenance

The location is perfect. You are located right next to the shore with access to seating and easy access to swim, coupled with great views of the mountains. There are shops within walking distance including a small supermarket, post office and pharmacy. Plenty of bars and restaurants that you can stroll to and with the old town, again within walking distance. Having been 3 times to the same villa I could still return year after year as it is the perfect location to relax and take in the views whilst still having the option to take bus/taxi to nearby towns, take a cruise out into the bay and beyond, hire bikes, go paddle boarding etc etc. The hosts have always been very helpful when arranging arrivals and departures, booking taxies etc. They are close at hand during your stay, certainly not intrusive but available if you should have any questions which is reassuring. I have stayed in both parts of the accommodation and they have always been clean with everything that was needed to make for a comfortable stay. The aircon was particularly appreciated this year! Would highly recommend :)

The location of the apartment was perfect it was just in front of the sea and 20 minutes by walking to the old town. Things you will need were functional.

The booking price and the price has been asked at the facility was really different. We paied 50 euro more. Which is a big difference. They don't include the cleaning fee to the price. And you dont know that untill you get there so it is like tricking.

Excellent location, great hosts. We had an unforgettable vacation.
