Great room which was well appointed and spacious Well located Lovely breakfast and welcoming staff Bar and restaurant on site

Could be a bit noisy at night in case you don't like that sort of thing

Excellent breakfast food, very friendly and helpful staff.

Bedroom very dated, as opposed to public areas which were clean and modern. Car park on side of Hotel not really secure, open to passers-by.

Food was very good, staff very cheery and helpful , room comfy, location handy for walking along the promenade and into the town

Probably avoid booking a single room as not much space.

The staff tried their best to cater for our needs and always ready to help.

The staircase/rooms were poorly lit for people with visual impairments. The shower cubicles were tired; we had to complain about the shower in one of our rooms. Our double bed was made up of two single beds; great you may think. However one of the matteress had a very noisey mattress protector that had a plastic sound to it. The spring were uncomfortable on this mattress. The walls of the room do not insulate against sound; the snoring neighbour could be heard as could the couple next door watching tv at 3am and the making of tea. The pressure of the water from the tap created a whistling sound in the pipes.

The location as well as the amentines and the shower system were great allowing for comfort in those areas

The bed itself was comfy and difficult to settle into it was then later in the night i discovered and felt a bug looked like a bed bug crawling on the bed this made me feel uncofofortable for me to sleep in for the night

Clean modern hotel, staff very polite and helpful, located ideally near to port and nice long walk along promenade, breakfast great , main menu at dinner time excellent, the cheesecake is amazing. Little gem of a place and my now go to hotel when I am working in the area.

Can’t really fault anything about this hotel

Easy to find, period charm, sizable room, decent breakfast, car park.

Shower was a bit ropey!
