The staff was the best in the hotel, especially at reception and breakfast. The young woman at reception named Carmen (if I remember correctly the name) was the best as well one young man.

The receptionist from June 1-3 was inattentive. We almost missed our June 3 tour which I booked/paid thru her on June 1.. follow up June 2 night. Didn’t note that I already paid the arrival van transport the day i arrived. Good thing the receipt was still in the trash to show to her but she can always check on the record. She needs more training. The demeanour is not also not nice unlike the receptionist that welcomed us on July 30

Location was amazing. Would definitely stay on Real Street (or of course at Casa Coron) again as it's a little less busy traffic wise than some of the surrounding streets. The included breakfast was great with plenty of options. Tours offered were the same price as the local tour agents, really convenient

Handy location close to restaurants, laundromat pharmacy, stores. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, George kindly helped me to extend my stay. Variety of breakfast options everyday. Will definitely stay again when visiting coron.

Nothing

A dirty nasty place the hotel was lacking. Any towels upon check-in or later during the day expect to go to the store and buy your own towels to shower with or any toiletries they do not provide soap or anything now this place is very dirty.

There’s nothing I liked about this property. The staff was not friendly at all and they just don’t care about cast.

Location was great. Located close to great places to eat and shop. Rooms were good sized.

Safes in the room are not secured to anything. I had to carry it to the office when the batteries to the push button control became dislodged.

Very helpful staff, They helped us to buy the ferry tickets to go back to El Nido, we were on the lagoons tour and had no way or time to go to buy the ferry tickets and one of the staff went to the port to buy it in our behalf. They helped us to plan our lagoons tour with a privat boat. Fair breakfast and they also prepared it for us as take away the day we left.

The surrounding area of the room location was a bit noisy due the presents of bars playing music till very late. Bed weren't very comfortable, water of the shower wasn't very hot.

room full of mosquitoes, a roach in the sink and geckos on the ceiling. probably bed bugs too. My whole body is covered in mosquito bites. we couldn’t change rooms and staff just sprayed some chemical in the room, which didn’t help. The walls are covered with dead mosquitoes, so obviously this isn’t news to them. Moldy smell in the bathroom, broken window, very loud and old AC. We specifically asked in advance for a quiet room but our room/window was directly bordering the restaurant kitchen next door with noise until late. breakfast portions were way too small and the free coffee is powdered, no coffee machine in sight. We just wanted to sleep after the ferry ride but weren’t able to relax here at all. wifi only in the lobby across the street, couldn’t be used in the room at all.

it was a horrible stay and Hotel.

Poor vaule and dirty rooms. No internet don’t work anywhere or anytime. No hot water. Water pressure is low and water is brown. No soap body or hair provided. Staff don’t care abount guest. No shower towels it’s a Major issue that happen to many guest including myself. Restaurant, dirty staff drops table cleaning rags on ground then uses them to clean floors & tables without cleaning rags after floor. What towel they give me is a tolite floor mats cause they out of towels daily. Black mold and rotten wood in rooms. Don’t expect any towels in room at check in, I asked for towels and the lady never came back she was found sitting down doing nothing. I said thanks for not coming back and having respect. Plan on having to go out and try and buy towels and stuff that they don’t have. Tolite don’t flush & leak onto floors with Pooh dirty water. I would not recommend. Front desk tall thin lady comes and starts yelling you can’t site here unless you stay. Excuse me ma’am I am staying here if you stop playing on your phone each all day you notice who your guest are that been here 4 days.

The staff were rarely available as they seemed to operate between two or three local hotels. this made simple things like asking for a hair dryer difficult.

Great location but need to improve the facilities, especially the bathroom. The price was reasonable.

Central location though get what you pay for. Helped to organise a tour and airport transfer. Pancakes were good at breakfast.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy much. There was no wifi available in the room, only at reception could we get it to work. Location is on a busy street so there is lots of noise at night though aircon helps to drown that out. The sheets were stained and had rips in them, and the curtains were totally sheer, so we were woken by the sun at 6am each morning, and struggled to sleep at night because of the outside lights. The room did not get serviced in 5 days while we were there, we needed to go and request toilet paper when we ran out. Depending on who was at reception, we may get help or may be standing there for 10 minutes waiting for someone in the hotel across the road (their sister hotel) to realise we were standing there and they came over to help. We were told no eating or drinking in the room, so not kettle, cups etc were available. We stay in a lot of budget hotels and unfortunately Casa Coron did not meet near what we would have hoped for a property in this price range.

I think this was the nicest hotel we stayed in while traveling whole Philippines - for given budget range (=around 20-30eur). Real feel of "clean room", bathroom with window (which is important so that your room doesn't smell after 1 day like a cave), comfortable bed, great location.

Old AC that is noisy - unfortunately common in Philippines. Noise from outside can be a problem for some. I would definitely not recommend room facing the street. Try to always choose room facing the back.
