Great A/C, very nice accommodations, friendly staff. Everything you need was provided.

There was usually no one in the rental shop to return rented equipment. We had to give our equipment to a neighbor for return so we let them keep the refund money.

This was the perfect destination for snorkel and sea creature lovers. I absolutely loved being able to snorkel right off the hotel in the quite halfmoon bay every day instead of having to pay for Akmal bay great reefs and sea turtles to be found. also there's a cenote river at the end of the street definitely worth visiting. The room was comfortable, clean and cold a bit small and simple but that is perfect for me and it's a very pretty hotel.

it can be a little hard to get to other things like stores and such as it's a hot kinda long walk 20-35 mins. I wish the rental bikes were slightly cheaper but we made due and it wasn't a huge issue.

Checkout time of 10am is too early. Booking.com reservation showed a checkout time of 12pm.

Nice hotel and room. Loved the pool. Really good that there are bikes to rent it makes it so quick and easy to cycle to the beach or the lagoon

The beach isn’t the best right outside the hotel it’s quite narrow and rocky but still good to sunbathe.

The hotel location was amazing! Loved sitting on the hammock on my private patio. The hotel and bay area was very quiet, and about 10 minute walk to popular areas.

I didn’t really see any staff around. There was also a lot of construction going on.

Location is excellent right on the bay, close to restaurants and activities. Easy parking right in front. Apartment had all the basics, be sure to stop at a store on your way fir coffee, tea, and food. There are small stores in town, but either very expensive or will have only small selection.

There was no one manning the office. We wanted to get beach towels, which requires a deposit of 200 mex. And rent a kayak....we went 3 days in a row in the morning and late afternoon...sign said back in 5 minutes. The cleaning staff were there every day, but they did not know anything about renting a kayak or towels. I did send a message via bookings and the response was to go to the office. On our last evening there, we did run into the manager and explained they were doing work in one of the building and he was there overseeing it. I know it is the tropics, but apartment had sugar ants and little bitting no-see ums, so bring bug spray...it is very clean and there were no roaches. The oven did not work, however we were able to use the stove top, no problem. One note on sargassum...they appear to be the only property on half moon bay that did not remove the sargassum. We were able to snorkel and go in the water by walking up several properties to where the water was clear. While we were there the govt cleared the beach and it made a huge difference! Not sure how often the government does that.
