We had a fantastic stay at the Landmark Happo Lodge. The owner was one of the nicest people we have ever meet - incredibly kind and helpful, very generous with his time (he even picked my girlfriend up from the bottom of a ski resort when she couldn't get a taxi). The location is fantastic. We couldn't recommend staying here more highly.

Cooked to order with a cereal selection and fruits. It was very tasty and filling.

Paul was an excellent host, we would chat daily and he would give us advice on skiing, restaurants and tips on things to do in Tokyo after we'd left Hakuba. Excellent variety of hot breakfasts daily. Never the same meal twice! Extra large traditional room with ensuite with awesome views out the two side balcony areas. Great proximity to the Evergreen Ski School ( where we sent out kids for lessons each day ) and the Kokusai 1 lift to head up the mountain ( probably a 3 minute walk, even in ski boots! ). Shuttle bus is also available here to take you to other resorts or destinations around Happo One village

I loved the location, the staff and the breakfast. Paul was the best and very helpful.

There was no tv to pass the time at night. The room was a little dated. Could use some face towels in the restroom.

The location of the property was great, very close to one of the chair lifts. Breakfast was delicious and changed each day. The staff were so helpful and really went above and beyond to ensure the trip went as smoothly as possible and answered every question we had. would definitely recommend :)

The staff and Paul in particular were fantastic.

The breakfasts lacked variety. The shower in the room was tiny.

Location of this accommodation is great. Walking distance to restaurants and bars within 10 mins. Ski lift just 5 mins walking distance away. The host and staff are English speaker and extremely friendly. The host recommended many different things for us to try around the mountain, and they all turn out to be better than expected. The breakfast served each morning is something we look forward to when we wake.
