The Location is awesome. We loved the view. The staff was nice and helpful.
The road was not illuminated. We walked at about 9pm and it was pitch black!. Thats the only negative

Very good location- a beautiful view and close to town. And yet we were able to leave directly from the holiday park and had a lovely run up through a bit of bush to high country and open land. The room and kitchen were at a good standard. The kitchen had lots of room to spread out.
The room was smallish and dark.

The Holiday park was clean and comfortable. Location was good, have a beautiful view.
The person at the reception was very helpful and in detail explained everything about getting to the room and wi-fi etc.

room had a fridge and kettle and bedding, table and chairs on deck, kitchen and bathrooms clean and organized, used the BBQ, clothesline, walking distance to town.

We had a standard cabin, which was pretty decent. The facilities were okay, but not great. The view from the campground down into the bay is amazing and is definitely the main draw of this campground.
The toilets and showers are not very inviting.

We didn't have a car and found the walk up the hill a chore. Also felt the room we booked too small - probably my fault not paying attention when booking but still disappointed.

Very friendly staff. Would have stayed another night but nothing available. Hostess was lovely and tried to get us somewhere close to stay but we found a lovely motel/ cabin in Cheviot where we stayed 2 nights. Room was lovely & close to facilities

Self contained units have your own balcony with awesome views of the harbour. Good playground and pool. Walk the track to Akaroa township.

everything was spot on. the room was neat and tidy. bed was really comfortable, everything you need is in the unit. kid friendly, and the room has an amazing view. we would definitely come back again. had an exceptional stay. ☺️
