The owner was very sweet and kind. I was unwell and she kept checking on me and made me dry toast and tea. She was also very helpful with information and helped me book a taxi to Huanchaco on her app which was much cheaper than Uber. The location was very good. Only a few blocks from the main square and in the middle of the historical centre. The room was comfortable for the price. And there are nice common areas with hammocks and tortoises.

Unfortunately the cleanliness level wasn't very high. The bathroom was quite dirty when I arrived. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while and there was dirt on the floor. It was cleaned on the day I left although not properly. Overall this could be a nice place to stay if they only cleaned more thoroughly and regularly.

Bed was very comfortable, great location and the staff were very helpful. I had a night bus on my check out day and they let me stay late, no issues. The lounge area with hammocks was great too!

An amazing place where the staff is really friendly. I was alone in the dorm when I stayed except for the two turtles ! The atmosphere is really cosy and colorful. I loved it

Good Location, friendly staff and cute animals (turtles and dog). Except of me, nobody was there, so it was comfortable.

Everything is little old, but if you don't care it's a cute hostel. Only cold water available, even if the staff is telling you, there is hot water. Breakfast is not included.

This Hostal shouldn’t be on booking since they DO NOT take booking online, results: they didn’t accept my booking and I ended up paying very expensive for a matrimonial room that wasn’t very good and there was nothing else available around as it was during the carnaval

When i was there there was a loud (christmas-)party just across the street. Don't know if its there always

They have tortoises which are very cute. The atmosphere is nice inside.
