Breakfast was lovely, lovely room and lovely host. Couldn't really ask for more.

If anything room was a bit small but was only a single room. Not really worth mentioning!

This was a delightful guest house which was also easy to find. On-street parking was very good. Superb friendly welcome. The location in Penrith is also excellent being very close to the centre of town. The breakfast was also very goodand cooked to order. One bonus was the after-stay service as I was the first guest ever to leave an electric toothbrush behind. However, having confirmed that it was having a pleasant extended holiday in Penrith, arrangements were made to re-unite us a week later and it could not have worked better. This was service over and above and greatly appreciated.

Ann was very welcoming when we arrived after a wet cycle doing the C2C. They had a drying room which was great to get our clothes dried out ready for the following day. Breakfast was plentiful. They have ample storage for your bike if cycling the C2C.

Superb value for money and the host couldn't be more helpful. Excellent value breakfast ...excellent single room....faultless.

Rare to find a small single room so comfortable - beautifully furnished in a style suited to the Victorian house rather than simply following modern trends; well arranged so it did not feel cramped; clean, new en-suite and extra touches that show the hosts really think about what someone on their travels might need. I slept so well I missed breakfast but have no doubt it lived up to these high standards, as did the great welcome from the hosts.

Friendly greetings when we arrived, easy card payment, clean rooms and excellent choices for breakfast.

Extremely secure bike lockup, very welcoming staff in a wonderful victorian-era house. The Triton electric shower was the highlight, after a sweaty bike ride.
