The breakfast was awesome! Also the little scones, and a chocolate on the dressing gowns was a lovely touch. Vickie was friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Vicky was the perfect hostess, warmly welcoming us, everything was spotless and chosen in excellent taste. Breakfast was very tasty, both traditional and vegan and on arrival we much enjoyed the welcoming scones and shortbread. With quiet and spacious room, all within a few hundred yards of the lively center of Penrith this is an excellent starting point for the lake district as well as a convenient stop on a North South journey.

Vickie was the perfect host, making us feel very welcome with a great sense of humour. Although the room (number 4) wasn't the largest we have stopped in, it was more than adequate and situated at the back of the house was very quiet. One of the most comfortable beds of our two week driving tour upto the Outer Hebrides ensured we had a good night's sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. Having had our fill of full English/Scottish breakfasts we both chose to just have the bacon and egg which was served piping hot encased in a big soft roll - delicious!! Lots of choice of cereals and fruit too plus tasty coffee.
Nothing major and to be fair to Vickie I forgot to mention that the bathroom extraction fan wasn't working, this does seem to be the case in many B&B's for some strange reason.

Vickie was very welcoming and the rooms were comfortable. Good shower. 3 of our party were leaving early and Vicky arranged for them to have an early breakfast which was extremely kind of her. Location was great - a 5 minute walk into town

Abbey House B&B was very clean and the bedrooms were spacious clean with all the facilities you would expect.
The homemade scones was a lovely personal touch.
The cooked breakfast was fantastic and filled us up for our onward journey.

I would have liked more room for car parking but accept that space is limited in the middle of Penrith.

Great service from booking to leaving. Lovely breakfast included and good attention to detail. Very clean and good bathroom. Prepared nice vegan options for us.

Location was good, only a very short walk into centre of Penrith. Breakfast was very good.
Road was quite busy but not a problem for a short stay. Room was quite small but fine for one night stay.
