Very comfortable, clean & stylish accommodation with everything well catered for including laundry facilities. Our hosts are very organised & our short stay was made seemless with their attention to detail. Our nicest & best value accommodation during our 3 week trip around the South Island.

Conveniently located and exceptionally clean. The Tui is really lovely, airy and spacious.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike other than having to leave.

There were two case stands so easy to get to cases instead of on the floor. Fabulous air flow at night with extremely safe windows. The bed was very comfortable with the correct linen for hot summer nights. Air conditioning was dust free for my asthma.

Excellent and spotlessly clean accommodation in a peaceful location with nice views and great facilities for residents. The owners were very friendly and understanding of our needs, which is greatly appreciated.

There is really nothing to complain about or dislike about the Wilkes Way Villa, it's really nice.

Loved everything! It was an amazing vacation away from an amazing vacation! Heather and Tim were absolutely lovely hosts! Always there to respond and advise. Apartment was clean, airy, spacious and well-equipped. Property incredible so access to additional rooms and outdoor space was an added bonus. Beautiful 35 minute walking trail to town for provisions, lunch etc. A delight all around. Would stay again and again and recommend highly to anyone. Thanks Heather and Tim!

The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The instructions on getting the key and access were easy. The room was private and the hosts were very friendly.

The room was right next to the laundry, so when the other guests took advantage of the opportunity to do their washing and use the dryer (at all hours) it was very loud in our bedroom.

House was lovely, couldn’t be better. However the website page was not clear enough and I ended up booking the wrong apartment (I needed 2 rooms not 1). I was offered a spare bed in a spare room that would’ve been good for a child but not my 60 year-old carcass. Then a nearby neighbor held a loud party that was going gone 2am. Decided not to stay the second night as we’d both had awful night due to the party. Managed to get an early ferry. Heather, the owner, was friendly via phone (they’d gone for Xmas) but no refund was offered. I think I’d try to stay there again though. I believe it was an unfortunate combination of events that ruined our stay/Christmas day.

An absolutely brilliant room with full kitchen.

We didn't get off to a good start, my elderly father ended up in hospital, and my husband was also sick so couldn't come with me, so a friend came instead. However, my friend had to work so we couldn't leave Christchurch until 5.30pm and therefore we didn't arrive at accommodation until after 10pm. Earlier in the day the owners had given us instructions how to get into the accommodation as they were out of town. Someone staying in another apartment told us about another bed and bathroom my friend could use. We really appreciated the owners did not charge us anymore even though this would have created more cleaning for them.

Heather and Tim are great hosts. Their property is beautiful in Waikawa and close to hiking trails and the Waikawa harbor. The unit includes a full kitchen and a living area that looks out to the harbor.

I was in Picton for a week (intentionally) during an extreme weather event -endless rain causing flooding and slips in the area. This lovely apartment was the perfect place to hunker down and wait it out. The tastefully decorated rooms are spacious but have a cosy feel. And it's wonderfully quiet. Heather and Tim are exceptional hosts being kind and helpful but not intrusive. I'll definitely stay again.

What amazing accommodation. We had the 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, immaculate, and stylishly furnished. The apartment had lovely views of the beautiful garden, the bay and the hills and is a short walk from the Waikawa Marina with a bar that serves good pub meals. The house is a very easy cycle ride from the Picton Ferry. Tim and Heather were gracious and discreet hosts and the apartment is very private. Thank you for the rhubarb and the feijoas. Guests have access to a pool room and home theatre but we simply enjoyed the bike trails and walks and sittting in the sun admiring the garden. We will definitely return.

I've given it a 10 out of 10 so nothing could be better!
