Very pleasant surroundings and obliging hosts.

Friendly welcome from a most obliging hostess. Our stay couldn't have been catered for any better. Despite difficulties with interislander ferries our stay in Picton was made even more pleasant by the kindness and thoughtfulness we were shown by the proprietors. Very pleased to recommend a stay in this motel.

Sons and Mum's on holiday.

The boat ramp and park area just across the road.very tidy,well maintained.

Being overnight only makes it tough to find any fault.

Very comfortable, had all that you need to have a good family holiday stay. Lovely helpful people.

Our Hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Even offered to loan us linen for our next stay.

Only the beer fridge in the kitchen ice box did not freeze ice packs overnight. Need a slightly bigger fridge with a freezer.

Great location at the end of marina. We liked the homely touches in the motel and loved the spacious modern bathroom.

Heatpump rather noisy during cold night. Window latch needs fixing.

Friendly welcome, clean old style quiet motel with plenty of room and separation of bedroom bathroom and kitchen. Updated bathroom. Location, beautiful outlook over small harbour. Close to centre for boat trips waterfront walks and cafés. Owners helpful in meeting some requests.

Kitchen clean, large and well equipped but needs reordering to free up space for food storage.

Great location across from the beach. Hosts were very welcoming and went the extra mile. Full kitchen facilities.

mini break in Waikawa

The unit was comfortable and in a great spot close to the Waikawa reserve. The bathroom looked new , and everything we needed was available in the kitchen . nice touch to have the home made biscuits waiting 👍 and the owners were friendly and good to deal with .

Sadly we both slept very poorly , the bed definitely needs upgrading as it was saggy and soft . It was the only negative .

Could have been better, will not stay there again.

The beds very comfortable. Modern bathroom. Nice homely touch, some home baked biscuits. Friendly staff. Really clean.

Very harsh white LED lighting. Dated and old fashioned. Location disappointing, we faced a fence and looked into other peoples bedrooms.

Great little motel with full kitchen

The motel is so well equipped with a full kitchen including oven. Lovely setting with lots of birds and just behind the water. The owner is really sweet and gave us homemade biccies on arrival. There were also electric blankets on the bed which was really cosy!
