Short walk to great beach that we had all to ourselves. Close to Waihi if you need to get to the big smoke. Hosts were very welcoming and made our stay super chilled.

Just nitpicking on small things - could use additional hooks or shelves especially in the toilet to put our toiletries and hang the towels. And it wasn't clear in the info while booking if we were going to get breakfast or not. It seems breakfast not included, as Julie suggested some good place to get breakfast.

Location was perfect

It was cozy, private, beautifully decorated and at an amazing location. sitting on the seat, looking out to sea as the sun set behind us each night was magical. The hosts are great, lovely people with great local knowledge.

very minor things overall. the heater in the lounge wasn’t quite up to the job so we were a little chilly at night. it would have been nice to have some curtains or frosting on the windows in the kitchenette. And a robe hook in the bathroom. Minor things that didn’t affect our stay but these were three things we both commented on.

Beautifully presented & clean & was very cosy. Had everything necessary ie shower body wash & mini shampoos & even dressing gowns. I loved that no payment required in advance in case of unforeseen circumstances.

was a bit of a challenge without a kitchenette/microwave for 2 nights but we made it work & know for next time to upgrade. Perfect for a single or 1 night

Amazing location, right close to the beach which made for awesome walks, nice, roomy and warm apartment to relax in the comfy chairs. Also can see the outdoor area would be great in warmer months.

This is an amazing get-away location - have come back a year after the first trip and it was equally as wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Nothing much, if I was going to be picky maybe water pressure in the shower could have been a touch more.

Perfect place to stay for a couple, decor was stunning, so romantic. Extremely clean and tidy with lovely personal touches such as soaps etc. Hosts were super friendly and helpful but also gave us privacy. Right next to the beach. Plenty of eateries in the area and the bike riding was fun.

The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious is amazing decore. The location is also right next to the beach by walk and few minutes from cafes and restaurants in the city.

Could hear their cute dog running upstairs and the hosts walkingaround ( the room is down stairs). We didn't mind.

What an amazing location, the rooms open to beautiful patios/gardens that lead to the dunes and the beach. The house is an easy bike ride or drive to the village but located at the quiet, shady end of town.

Loved it all

It was ground level for a start so no steps to climb. There was NOTHING I didn’t like. It was a great place to stay starting with the host and after that nothing disappointed.

Amazing location and wonderful hosts. Julie and Cam went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, didn't want to leave.

The location was perfect, close to the beach, quiet and private. Breakfast was popped on our bench fresh each morning to have at our leisure. The apartment was beautifully decorated and super comfortable.

We would have liked to stay longer. All just perfect.

Myself and Tom loved the serene getaway location, the room had everything we needed including utensils, a small fridge, and a kettle which was really nice! We had brought some fresh fish and barbecued it with the BBQ Julie provided us. Bed was SO comfy! Like sleeping on a cloud. We can't wait to come back.

I think the photos of the outdoor area could be updated as I partly booked from the outdoor photos and it was very different. Not that it mattered in the end as it rained the whole time! :)
