Stay 2 nights. The accommodation was clean. The restaurant is lovely, although pricey. Lovely atmosphere, nice bar area and location is in the town. I would definitely stay here again

We loved our room! It was very cosy & warm (heat pump & electric blankets!) very suited for what we needed! no faults at all apart from took a while to get checked in (staff were busy) the bathroom was beautiful, we had a balcony/deck with our room & it was beautiful to sit under the trees in the sun for a coffee in the morning. Free wifi & smart tv was great! easy check out! (just leave key in lock box) I was actually kind of sad to leave haha

The property was in a great location. Everything was a walk away. The rooms were modern, clean and well equipped.

The only thing we missed were probably the fact there was no laundry room and the walls are quite thin so you can hear talking in the next room.

Cheaper than staying in Tauranga, restaurant is great and rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful, willing to go that extra bit for their clients.

The amenities and staff are great. The rooms are very clean, tidy and stylish. Food at the restaurant was yum. The bathrooms come well stocked with a range of personal hygiene supplies and are very clean and well thought out.

Unfortunately such a lovely hotel is situated right on the main road so there is a lot of traffic noise. Not much can be done about it and the rooms kind of made up for it.

There was too much vehicle noise from the main road. Truck's engine breaking throughout the night to early hours in the morning. The restaurant and bar was very noise at night. The bed was worned out, hard and very uncomfortable, you can feel the springs of the bed. Unfortunately the room didn't have any plates/ saucers or cutleries if you decided to bring your own take away from across the street. It seems like your forced to dine at their restaurant. Usually there are at least some chairs and a table but our room did not have any of these. Photos shown on the website did not match our expectations of what we got.

The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable, they had been redorated very recently, that was done very nicely. My only concern was the price of the food in the restaurant, we felt it was a little on the expensive side, the food we had tasted fine, no problem there, but it would be nice to have a barsnacks or cheaper menu as well, We felt we had to eat there as we were a guest and had to pay the prices, if you wanted something cheaper there wasn't anything on offer there or in the town, otherwise we would rate the stay highly.

Staff, food and room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the singer was great in the sports bar. The Irish coffee was next level😀😀

Nice place, good bar with a great drink selection. Food was very good also, I would recommend the pizza. London was absolutely brilliant, this guy is a star.

The staff were very keen to scan and keep personal records of identity, we insisted we wouldn't like to do this, but unfortunately we couldn't stay unless they scanned an official form of identification, we were assured we could witness this record being removed and deleted from their system the day of our departure, we were leaving early, no one was actually working at the hotel to facilitate this. This left us feeling really vulnerable and that their motives were insincere. After all the places we have stayed in via Booking.com not one place requested to scan official personal identification. We also noticed close to the main entrance is an unattended laptop (that they use for bookings), with no security for access, connected to the Talismans network, this didn't make us feel secure at all. I would like to think they will honor their word and delete our official personal documents, improve their security procedures and change their policy for taking copies of personal documents. Also the shower door was broken, when we had noticed, there was no staff onsite to notify.

Nice modern rooms with comfortable beds, good showers and the staff are fantastic. Value for money and the restaurant serves great food. So good i've already booked my next stay.

My husband had actually booked another night until I noticed that the draws/table/clothes hanging shelf was dusty and the dust was visible, this put me off, so I cancelled the booking. I did mention this to the lovely staff member and she did apologise for it. I pulled up the blinds in the bathroom for some light and when I did, I actually saw a lady in the adjoining bathroom so immediately pulled the blind down. The rooms are so close together, could literally hear people open their door with their keys and their conversations.
