You get moved to a different villa for card payments. In addition, I heard that you can use the lower floor in the morning, and although it was locked, someone, perhaps an acquaintance or a staff member, came in and seemed to be enjoying a chat, but it was noisy and scary. It's better to avoid this accommodation as it's not good for the price.

We stayed at the property for 5 nights, the property was decent. It was spacious and the housekeeping staff kept the property as clean as possible.

The lighting in the property is set to dim, although the property gets a lot of day light, it's too dull and dark at night. Lighting isn't sufficient to work in this property. The hot water in different bathrooms fluctuates, though we managed to workaround it, we expected more for the price. The property doesn't have any insect repellent incent or oils, this prevented us from enjoying the outdoor space as much as we would have liked to at night. The bicycles available were quite run down, although you can ride them, the seats weren't adjustable as the pole was rusty and 2 of them didn't have a bell, which is necessary when you get to the busy streets. And one of them had a loose seat. The property didn't have hair dryers in the rooms, it took us a while to find one, in the common area upstairs. And one of the bathtubs is damaged. The biggest let down was that there were random people entering the property, they came at all times of the day and night unannounced. They came for maintenance, beverage drop offs, to pick things up and to clean the pool. The only person we were clearly informed about was the housekeeping lady, she comes on a daily basis, which was fine. This significantly impacted the comfort and safety levels at the property, as we were expecting to have the entire villa to ourselves. We didn't lock any room doors as it was all just family and had many ladies in the property, so having random gentlemen in the property unannounced simply wasn't appropriate. In addition, after the second incident, we confirmed with the property manager whether there will be anyone else coming to the property, although he said no, the following day another person rocked up.

The property, the location, the staff - everything was amazing. So delighted with Flora Hoi An, boutique & chilled - a taste of Vietnam in the countryside and only a 15 min cycle to the beach or 15 min cycle the opposite way to the old town of Hoi An. The nature of the surrounding area was stunning and like something you see on National Geographic. The rooms, the pool, garden etc are exactly as depicted in the photographs on line. The staff were so genuinely kind caring and attentive - 5 star hospitality.

Sorry that we had to leave. We only stayed 4 nights but wished we stayed at least 2 nights longer to enjoy the place even more.
