Beautiful property. We saw so much wildlife entering in and our. Buffalo’s right up next to our window

The service is very bad, so when we got to the gate we realised we couldn’t call the hosts and had to turn back to the main road before that. Very hilly area, we had a polo and unless you have climbed mountains with it before it does get a bit steep. But it’s AMAZING none the less

Activities were not offered on arrival, meal offered was over priced, no desert option available, for a 4 star rating, is this acceptable? And it certainly is not a lodge, but a great self catering option

Loved the comfort and luxurious feel of the suite. The peacefulness of the lodge and friendliness of the Managers and staff. You can relax and unwind while enjoying nature and all it has to offer. There are fantastic activities to keep you busy. We had the option of self-catering or ordering from their amazing menu. It was one of the most beautiful places we have had the pleasure of visiting and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs some peace for their soul!

All staff particularly the chef were fantastic, very friendly, helpful and attentive to our wishes. They made us feel welcome and at home.

The view from the room was magnificent and will never be forgotten. The self catering unit was private, stocked with everything we needed and comfortable, and Fay and her team always willing to help with anything

We love everything about African Safari Lodge: comfortable, well appointed lodging, super friendly and helpful staff who are most responsive to every small request, beautiful nature views, lovely and challenging cycling.

Gift was very friendly and hospitable. I found the bath very relaxing. The mattress and bedding were superb. The private grass area overlooking the dam was a treat in the afternoon sun. It was very clean.

My Loadshedding light didn't last the duration, would have been amazing to have a generator for a light or 2 and wifi or tv at least.

Could not find fault

The staff were very caring. Breakfast/lunch/dinner can be booked in advance as there is no restaurant… the chef came to our door to call us to get ready for dinner and served us pizza with the most delicious base! The views are gorgeous.

Our hosts Faye, Mike and their staff were great and checked in on us regularly. We thoroughly enjoyed the bass fishing, game drive and nature walk.

Gift the property manager did what he could to make our stay possible, but unfortunately we booked out after the first night. There was no mention of a refund, they could at least had it as a topic for discussion.

The bed that was provided for my so age 11, was a disgrace. i was told to make the bed myself, I then told them to do it for me, and so they did. on arrival there was no ice for a drink, no cold beer no colf water or anything. as per the pictures that are shown by booking.com it show a chef with a super spread of food, this was not the case. the manager had to make food for us (which was not too bad) all in all, what you see on Booking .com for this establishment, you will never get. i am also really confused as to how they are a so called 4 STAR property. this is not up to standard with any hotel organization.

family cottage is such a beautiful place in the bush. open spaces and huge windows to enjoy the sun and nighttime sounds. so tastefully decorated and really lived well. staff were so helpful

nothing however it is a drive on a dirt road so not ideal for a car with minimal clearance

Magical place, within a beautiful reserve. Attentive staff, large rooms furnished with great taste. The view over the valley is something unique, which alone is worth the trip. This place was an absolute gem in our long road trip in south africa. Absolutely recommended.
