Fair price, easy access to Dongdaemun

We only needed a room for one night before our flight home. This hotel is quite small and simple. Our room felt crowded and a bit outdated, but it was okay. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Location was good as well. Overally, we had a pleasant experience, but I would not recommend it for a longer stay.

We went to this hotel with high hopes. The pictures that are on booking.com are heavily misleading and the condition of the room was appalling. We had given up this room because it was dirty and absolutely unhygienic. There was gum on the floor and the walls were stained with brown muck. We asked the receptionist if she could give us the room pictured on the website and she said that's not available and that there was no other clean room available to put us in. She was very unhelpful and said no. The hotel put us in a misleading situation and did not make any effort to keep us or help us. We were therefore forced to book another hotel through booking.com on the same day. Did not get my money back - very disappointing.

The location is pretty good. Not far from the bus /train and from attractions like the palaces or myeondong/Gwangjang Market. The room are clean and they get cleaned every day. All the necceities are there like shower, shampoo etc. without any extra cost. I was also able to wash my clothes for a very cheap price.

I stay at mix dorm 8 bed with 2 bathroom, 1 is broken so should queue for showering.

Concerning the dormitory only (where I stayed) :
- Just one little size towel furnished for the entire length of stay and no place to let it dry
- Make sure to bring sandals for the shower to avoid sliding (the hotel only provide a few pairs for everyone that sometimes disappears and reappears)
- Dormitory let quite autonomous leading into some inconvenient situations (people using the air dryer at 6am)
- Shower room’s door sometimes difficult to open and close.
- No real place to eat your own food (you cannot eat in the room and they will tell you to eat in the reception room where everyone come and goes, which can be quite uncomfortable)

it was definitely cheap and affordable and public transport is very close by
you get what you paid for I wouldn’t recommend staying more than a night or not at all. firstly the location is a bit far, the room is tiny. no ventilation and the hotel requires you to put your used toilet paper in a bin. you can imagine how much it stinks. there was stains everywhere on the sheets and it was just uncomfortable to stay at. I wouldn’t recommend to be honest but you get what you paid for.

The room size is very small and bathroom doesn't have a real separation from the room, the photos here doesn't really show how small the room is, breakfast was ok but not variety at all, everyday the same thing and not really good

Breakfast was simple but greatly appreciated.
Although the beds and basics are clean, the room walls have never been cleaned by the look of it and are literally covered in other guest’s spilled food, drinks, squashed insects, bogies and there was some brown marks on the toilet wall I don’t want to think about.
Also the rooms are not sound proof at all.

the location. it was at a strategic location and walking distance to the locals hangouts and eatery.
the size of the room isn’t what was shown. booking dot come mentioned that it’s free for children, but when we arrive, they charged us my 3yrs old headcount. for a room that size, it’s not worth my money at all.
the locals who checked in paid similar for a week stay, and ours was just 2 nights.

The hotel’s rule is air conditioner can not to turn on in this season so we have to open window for ventilation and then mosquito come inside too many when we talk to reception he just give a spray. we come with my daughter she can’t sleep.

I like the cleanliness of the room and the washrooms. There is a convenience store just right down the building and there are some resto and coffee shops nearby. The lady (middle age) who checked me in is very accommodating out of all 3 staff who were there.
There is no place for you to eat if ever you bring some food from outside. Specially for those who stays in dormitory, it is not allowed to bring food in the room and yet there is no pantry/kitchen area that you can enjoy your food. I ate in the lobby ( couch) and it is very uncomfortable.
