Friendly host, well equipped

Great place to stay offering value for money. Extremely friendly owners and went above and beyond our expectations. Considering as I was traveling with children, they were accommodative and flexible to our requests. Walking distance to most restaurants and places of interest. Definitely looking to come back.

The room is clean. The place is quiet, though with a peacock making noise at 5am, which is a welcome thing for me. My friends were also there, and we did party until late, the owners did not bother us. Room is a bit old, but equipped with AC and water heater. Just a few meters walk to the wall to see the sunset.

I will say, the door lock... a little bit old.

The common area for the 2 rooms on the top floor was great. The amenities that were available exceeded my expectations.

Wind flow was not enough for the common area. Better to fix a fan there.

One of the best places I have lived in Sri Lanka, very respectable and friendly. On my next visit to Galle, I will live with them as well.

Amazing people run this hotel, they really helped us a lot with many stuff that we needed at the time. Totally recommend the place. Also the place is right in the middle of Galle Fort which is really convenient.

Beautiful place to stay in the Fort, including ocean views from a lovely terrace where you can enjoy tee or coffee. The best thing were the lovely and gracious hosts, who made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Thank you!

We loved this place. Galle fort is beautiful, I was skeptical staying inside the for, but it was the best idea. Nice and quite room. Lovely hosts. The fort offers so many good places to eat and shop. Jungle beach and Unawatuna are good places to visit.

super nice host and hostess. perfect location in a calm street in the middle of the fort. Aziz organized us a cheap transfer (private driver) from our accommodation in Colombo. since we were still so tired they allowed us a free late check out and even gave us provisions for our subsequent travels.

The location was great. It was very near to the lighthouse and perfect for exploring the fort walls and the area within them. The family who run the guesthouse were extremely nice. The a/c in our room was not working well when we arrived and they fussed around trying to get it working for us. It did eventually become cool and they made sure to follow up with us if it was working ok. We arrived on a particularly hot day and they genuinely seemed worried about us being hot and bothered. They arranged a taxi for us to Negombo for a good price and this was very helpful. They gave us a small gift when we left which was a really nice touch. We only stayed for 1 night and it was everything we needed.

The room was a little on the small side, particularly the bathroom. Given the price we paid and the location, we did not take issue with it.

The owners were so sweet and caring. They waited up for me when I arrived late. The location is perfect, right in the center of Galle Fort. It was quiet and peaceful.

Very nice place in the centre of the fort. The ladies who work there are lovely! Would recommend
