The location was amazing. Just below the castle and monastery in the middle of the Altstadt. Grocery stores and local bakeries all around us. We were able to walk to the sights in Salzburg we wanted to see.

Being the middle of summer, it was hot and when it rained we couldn't keep the windows open. They did provide 3 fans in the room.

A fantastic location! Just a three minute walk away from the very center of historical Salzburg. A very nice breakfast cafe right next door. Easy self-service check-in. Friendly staff (when messaging bad calling them)

The room was very small and there was no air conditioning. There was no closet, no armchair and even moving around the bed was difficult. The price was quite high compared to the level and comfort but I guess in high season in Salzburg that's what you have to pay.

Location and clean

No air condition. Sometimes the water is too hot but sometimes it's cold.

The location was in the centre of everything ! It was perfect. The host - Claudia was super helpful, patient and very considerate. Restaurants around the place made it lively and noisy, but the sound proof windows worked wonders.

So for a family, this is a great place to be. Please be forewarned that this is a building made many many years ago, so they do not have a lift, but if you are fit and able to walk up a few flights of stairs, you cannot get a better place than this to stay in Salzburg. Claudia has ensured that all modern amenities are available and the rooms are clean and well maintained.

The location is amazing and it was a neat old building.

Unfortunately, it was above 90 degrees on the days we were in Salzburg. Despite leaving the windows open at night to cool off and using the small fan provided, we were so hot at night, we were barely able to sleep. The room itself was small, which we expected, but it’s really more of a one person space, especially for American tastes.

Location was perfect! It's within the Old Town. Very close to the Mozart bus station, 2 mins walk to the grocery, 5 mins walk to Mozart Platz and few minutes walk to the centre.

Tiny room but that cannot be helped in the older buildings.

It was very clean and they were flexible with the check in/out.

The internet was a DISASTER! I didn't have any internet connection for hours, i was wandering in every part of the house (as they told me) to check if the problem was only in my room and they told me that if i have any technical problems, they can't do anything about it! They kept telling me all the time that their internet is fine and should work without problems. They didn't help in any way possible! There was only one big towel in the room. No towel for the hands/hair and no shower gel or shampoo.

Just one towel provided. No toiletries for bath. the room is very very very small. the entry key opens the room’s door also and that means that every key can open every room and it’s not ok. they have cameras but still I don’t find it to be ok.

It is a wonderful room with ancient history and well decoration. It is near the church and other attractions. The homeowner was so freindly.

Extremely friendly and accommodating host. Location is perfect. Bed comfortable.

The size of the unit. Unbelievably small. Although, some of the other rooms seems bigger.

great location!

The location is superb, located in a quiet street in the old part of the city. The room is small but lovely and has everything you need for a weekend stay for 2: the bed is large and comfortable and the en-suite shower was hot. There is also small table and chairs, and portable hob for cooking which we didn’t use - with so many great restaurants in Salzburg I’m not sure you how much you’d need them (or given the space how easy it would be to use them.) The super TV was great for catching up on World Cup action. Check in and communication was excellent through out.

The location of the property was excellent. Being november we were also 2mins walk away from the Christmas market. Check in was quite easy also. The room was clean

- There is no lift which isn’t advertised. - The room was EXTREMELY small. There was no place to put our bag. We ended up having to fold down a table and move two chairs to fit our bag in a small corner. - Someone entered our room after the first night. Assume to retrieve money from their tourist tax piggy bank. This should’ve been done when the room was cleaned instead of once we were already there. - Check in is very late at 4pm and there is only a two hour window before you will be charged extra. Check out is very early at 9.30am. I’m not sure why there needs to be 6.5hrs between check in and out especially as there are only 5 rooms to clean. - There are no toiletries like shower gel etc which at the price is expected. - During our first night we were woken by a loud banging type noise coming from within the walls. maybe pipes or something electrical. - The hot water ran out during my shower. Overall I would stay here again as the location is great but I wouldn’t stay for any longer than 2 nights due to these issues.

the place is excellent. very close to the city centre. interesting old building. we liked it a lot.
