The room was fine. It was very clean and the bed was fine to sleep in.

I was kept awake by someone walking about upstairs. The floor was creaking so I presume it was someone in another room.

Nice and quiet.

The service was exceptional. The lady at reception with glassed when above and beyond to help us sort out a taxi and made us feel so welcome. We were pleasantly surprised with the room as the photos on booking.com are not good and I think If they were updated it would make the hotel a top choice.

I know it can't be helped but the traffic and road noise was awful! It woke me up several times!! Maybe more insulation for the windows would help. The bed was comfy however it does really dip in the middle and me and partner both kept falling in the middle.

it was quiet location. easily found by satnav postcode very clean and very welcoming, nice and warm in rooms too. comfy bed with plenty pillows/ good warm duvet had all I needed for a night’s stay tea/coffee provided. good parking at property and good key access so felt very safe. we could have bought a breakfast but needed to get going home! A nice reception/ restaurant/function area/bar.

the PIR lights on the landings did not come on until you took a step into the dark 😳 and didn’t light my friends room (down a separate corridor) at all, so had to use phone lights to see where her door lock was 🙄. The PIR outside my (nice twin room up another landing) didn’t stay on long enough to get down the steep steps outside it (when leaving the room) and the corridor below didn’t light up at same time either so was stepping into the dark with case and bag and didn’t know how many steps down there were and no light 😳 as it had gone off by then. Going up the steps the corridor light below did light these steps ok - but as I wrote earlier I had to walk into the dark to turn it on. I would suggest the lovely helpful ladies (who to their credit are doing a lot of work) look at the settings so the whole corridor (including to room 1 ) lights up and the landing to room 6) and stay on long enough. I know power is expensive but…. needs doing.

everything , when we got there , no one would let us in ,there is a number to ring apparently but it doesn’t ring .. when you turn up it looks like something out of a horror movie .. very scary .. was a relief when we couldn’t get in although it cost us to stay in the ibis up the road .. avoid avoid avoid , felt like we had just been ripped off

no hitting at night , I was freezing slept with socks and all blankets on top , was 13 degrees in the room at 2 am , in this cold weather this is absolutely not acceptable. I am very regretful that I have chosen this place . I was waiting over 5 min in the freezing bathroom to wait for a hot water.

Quiet location, easy parking, very pleasant entrance, room had all facilities, friendly staff, the door lock being manual is very helpful as prevents being accidentally locked out

The room was very nice,the heating was available if needed.Very goos value for the overnight stay.

The only thing was , on that nights stay we happened to be on the road side ,which I'm not used to at home,but it DIDNT actually keep me awake.

The room was on the top floor to get to it the floorboards had sagged so felt dangerous.tge room smelt musty and again the floor was on a slant..noise from the main road was quite bad but for the price a comfy stay

This is budget accommodation, bit more like a hostel than hotel, the room had some lights that didn’t function , but over all the condition of the property matched the price you pay .
