Insgesamt ein sehr nettes Erlebnis. Die Bedienung konnte auch Deutsch, super! Das Zimmer war einfach aber zweckmäßig. Das Abendessen sehr gut zu einem guten Preis. Mein erstes Käsefondue für eine Person auf meinem Trip. Frühstück war OK, wenn auch nicht überwältigend. Hat insgesamt gepasst, habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

La restauration était parfaite, repas très bon, la serveuse était très gentille et serviable. Je recommande la cuisine et l’accueil de la serveuse
La chambre est petite, les lampes de chevet ne fonctionne pas, le linge de toilette n’est pas de première jeunesse.

Freunlicher Empfang, sauberes Zimmer mit extenem Bad. Genügend Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Sehr gutes Früchstück,mit Schinken und Käse von bester Qualität und genug guten, frischen Kaffee. Zum Abendessen habe ich mir eine Pizza bestellt,die ebenfalls sehr gut war. Ich hatte schon voriges Jahr auf der Durchreise dort übernachtet und wurde nicht enttäuscht.

The room was spacious and clean. The view was spectacular. They have good food as well.
Food was a little pricey. I had a steak i asked medium but it was well done. Still taste ok though.

This hotel is part way up the Grand San Bernadino Pass on the Swiss side. It is in a very small town but in a beautiful location. It is a small hotel with good facilities. The breakfast was very good. There are limited eating facilities in the town.
We were on the second floor so the lack of a lift needs to be taken into account. this did not worry us but might concern some travellers.

Hotel du Gd-St-Bernard is ideal as a starting point for tour des Combines (TDC) hikers. It is 6 km hiking from Mille Hut. It has a bar, breakfast, lunch and dinner services. The room was very spacious and cosy and the beds were comfortable, WiFi is good in both dining room and sleeping room.
The hotel is 10-20 minutes by car from great st Bernard pass and it has a bus station next to it (both to the pass and Orsières).

The food was very good in the restaurant for supper and breakfast.
The beds were very squeaky with every movement and the pillows were not adequate (even when rolled up into a ball....). I could hear the bed in the next room creaking when that person rolled over as well...

the location is amazing, the village of liddes is really nice for an evening walk
while the rustic feel is very charming it felt dated with poor noise insulation from other guests. the breakfast buffet was limited.

Straight forward and basic rest stop hotel. food and drink available at the hotel, otherwise the village is empty! safe for vehicles and a good option as a rest stop.
