not a lot to do around the property but an uber/tram was easy to get.

The view was amazing and we enjoyed the the modern appartment. The living space was excellent. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Beds comfortable. Good standard of cleanliness. Lots of lovely extras provided. Easy 5 min walk to tram stop into the city. Short distance to supermarkets. A great apartment.

We were disappointed by not having a freezer or a full sized oven. As a family who like to cook this affected our enjoyment of the appartment. Didn't like the fact that the inner door to the actual appartment wasn't able to be locked. Didn't feel secure both for ourselves and belongings. Unfortunately we also had a few problems with the key to the main door which was frustrating when returning from a long day out. The owners were supportive but was a hassle we could have done without and wasted valuable time. The dishwasher also stopped draining so had to wash up the rest of the week. Apart from from these issues, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartment (just be aware of 3 flights of stairs to access the apartment if you have mobility issues)

the duplex was comfortable, modern, clean, well-appointed, and had both marvelous views over the water from a two-story picture-window, and a sweet outdoor terrace off the top floor. It was easy to get to from downtown A’dam via a 20-min ride on the 26 tram from Central Station.

The stairs are a bit challenging - but that is the way with upper apartments in Amsterdam!

Loved the welcoming gifts - flowers, local eats and treats and drinks. The cold beer was very welcoming after carrying our bags from the tram. The view is exceptional as well as the use of a rear patio area. Easy to contact the owners and they also made additional contact during our stay to see if all was ok. Easy to get to Amsterdam with the advantage of not in the very busy hustle and bustle thereof. We enjoyed the Japanese restaurant Mchi with an Albert Hein close by. Clean and well stocked apartment. Will definitely recommend this apartment and use again if we have the opportunity. Also used the local taxi service to Schiphol at flat rate of 45 euros. All was very pleasant, relaxing and comfortable. Thank you to great hosts.

Lovely apartment with great location, clean, modern, with stunning views to have breakfast at dawn. The apartment is like it looks in the photos. Very well stocked in every aspect, they even left us coffee, fruits, bread, a lot of things to eat and a nice touch with a bouquet of flowers! You have a tram near the apartment, the number 26, that lets you just right into central station, and there you can walk to the city or take other trams or trains to the center or other places in the Nederlands. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, but you can also enjoy nightlife in The Marina, a few meters from the apartment.It is a great place to stay.

We couldn't use the terrace due to a spider invasion, they were everywhere and came into the rooms and kitchen every day. When we complain (I didn't mind their omnipresence, but we went with a girl and her mother and they both were afraid of them) the property quickly solved the problem. Anyway, they are really a problem in the area, not exclusively of the apartment. The stairs are a little bit too much and narrow, so it's difficult to carry the luggage but if you are in a good shape they will be no obstacle.
