The owner of the location was very nice, helped a lot and was always there for questions. The pool was excellent. The house was very good, also with that hot temperatures.

I guess this depends on when you go, but we had alot of trouble with mosquitos (I got bitten about 20 times on the first two nights) meaning it wasn't possible to eat outside or use the pool. Even when eating inside you had to be on guard. One of the bedroom doors wouldn't shut either so it didn't make for a comfortable stay unfortunately

Self catering

This property has everything you need. It is just outside Arles and a bus runs regularly into the centre of Arles. Lucille the owner is a lovely lady. She went out of her way for us. There is a shared pool which is just perfect to cool down after a day in the sun. The property and pool are very well maintained and private.

Great host. Always available. She was always there if we needed. House is very close to Arles, Camargue parc. You can go to the seaside or visit nice towns. House is fresh and quiet. Thanks to Lucille for a nice welcome, tips and abricots. :)

Swimming pool is detached from the house/garden. House is surrounded by industrial buildings, so you dont feel like going for a walk around.

Property owner was very friendly and welcoming and allowed us the use of her bikes

The fact that despite being advertised as a private pool the swimming pool is in fact shared with two other properties. We were unfortunate enough to be sharing with 4 screaming children who took up the entire pool and made relaxation all but impossible The fridge was ridiculously small for a family of 4.

Le Loft des Artistes provides a lovely base for exploring Arles and the Camargue. The property is just outside the main town on the other side of the river. It has easy access to all major roads and to the city (by car 10 minutes) and as soon as you get through the property gate you are in a beautiful, quiet garden. The pool is really lovely with comfortable sun loungers and good quality cushions. Our part of the property provided a large living/dining space with a small kitchen area and a terrace outside with a large table and chairs. Upstairs you'll find two spacious double bedrooms with plenty of storage, a nice shower room and separate toilet. The space is very clean and comfortable with a lot of attention to detail and we especially loved the displayed art work. The host Lucille is just fabulous. She drove us into Arles to a meeting point for a Camargue-Tour to ensure we didn't need to stress over parking and even organized a private cooking lesson with a local lady for us. Lucille's partner is a painter and musician and one evening he and his friend spontaneously got their guitars out to play a few songs for us in the garden. It was an amazing experience and we had such a lovely week in Le Loft des Artistes, and can highly recommend it.
