Location awesome and great value.

General cleanliness was disappointing. A lot mould in bathroom, and place smell damp from the clothes dryer.

The best thing was leaving a place first thing in the morning, while still dark outside.

The man who greeted me has no business interacting with anyone. This person doesn't understand hospitality. I realize I should have checked reviews from other sites that mention the ill tempered inhospitable man. Owner was there when I arrived before 2pm. He needed to verify my identity, but said he couldn't wait for me to open my email. He told me to check my email on how to check in. Instead of helping he said figure it out yourself He yelled at me later in the evening as I tried to lock the door. Remember he refused to help me check in earlier in the day. Also, the white sheets show stains. There are cobwebs in the bathroom. And the accumulating dust in the shower upstairs has not been cleaned in sometime. Understand the first impression was made by the owner. He's inhospitable. I told him I would share my experience via review to which his reply is "You can do whatever you want." Also there is no sign announcing this lacking accommodation. Currently there is a large political billboard.

I loved the location, beside the lake with beautiful views. I also liked how close it was to the hospital. The bed was comfortable and there was good heating. The kitchen was well equipped too.

The steep driveway and multiple steps made checking in a struggle. Some maintenance is required with access door lock and fridges need defrosting.

The owner was very helpful.

Everything else pretty much, but the location was good.

I liked how easy it was. Easy instruction about how to enter house etc. I liked how responsive via text the operator was

I would suggest adding another lock on door that separated our room to the living room just to provide peace of mind. But no biggie

The beds were awesome. The view was stunning.

The Bed linen was stained and looked unclean. There were no tea coffee facilities in the room.

Property tatty, bathroom filthy, everything grubby and dusty. Fridge iced up. No coat hangers etc, etc!!

It had good views and great proximity to the lake to walk around.

The sound proofing could be a bit better and the provision of a hair dryer.

Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable with access to upper deck and the lovely views across the lake.

I was just staying one night, arriving by train and leaving by Intercity coach, so I needed a place in walking distance of the train station, the transport centre, and places to eat. This location was excellent, and allowed me to have a walk around the lake as well. The house was solid and warm, with no strange smell or noises.

Some complementary milk for cups of tea would've been nice.

The view was nice.

The toilet roll holder would always fall off, my room was right next to the toilet and people were using it throughout the night it was very noisy. Some guests arrived in the middle of the night when it was supposed to be quiet so that kept me awake. Not much parking at all and the guests that arrived in the night had blocked me in with their car. Other guests weren't using the door locking mechanism properly, was all a bit of a shambles, thankfully I didn't have to pay much for the room.

There were more or less fifteen spiders in our room, although we were told it was cleaned. But at least the accomodation provides an effective Spray.

The weather, access, and expectations mostly met. Soy milk on offer SO WELCOME, as this Guest has a dairy allergy. The view FROM the property includes a vista of the full length of the Lake, with the Hospital in the far end.

Having a bedside light operated from bed would be so welcome. Having a mirror in the room. Like to be able to wash hands even when somebody else is in the shower room (handbasin in toilet?).

Really appreciated the great communication.
