First off, the views of the mountains are spectacular. White Water Inn is a bit up from the main square (about 10-15 mins walk) and because of this is in a much quieter and scenic location. Every room has a balcony and huge windows with mountain views. The staff is extremely kind and offer room service all day. The food was always delicious and affordable, the staff always willing to help and accommodate. We really could not have been happier with our stay. I will never stay anywhere else in Dharamsala!

Nothing. There was hot water, great food made to order, privacy, amazing views, clean rooms, etc. they just don’t provide toiletries of any kind so bring your own. And be prepared for some steep steps down to the guest house from the road. If mobility or laziness is a thing for you, this may be a difficult stay.

Loved the location, the property, the view from the room. 1km walk from main square. Quiet, peaceful location.

The geyser in the room wasn't working, they did arrange hot water in a bucket though. I hope they fix it soon.

Evwrything was perfect . Right from the moment you step in to the hotel view , the food the staff everything is perfect . You will get the cleanest rooms n washrooms here . Great hospitality

There is nothing we did not like we loved everything a lot it was worth every penny . However we just want a cute request to be considered to add sweet dishes to the menu .

Rooms clean and well maintained however one has to climb down about 80 steps from the road to reach hotel. No parking.

It is around 1.2 kms from main McLeodganj market and walk back to the hotel in late evenings will be via dark, poorly lit roads. We need to climb down many steps from the road to reach the reception. Definitely not suitable for people with knee problems, senior citizens and those who are less athletic (in fairness, they should mention this clearly on their website and booking platforms). Rooms are neat and well maintained They have minimal staff and food taste/choice is average. People are friendly and helpful for routine needs. However, we get only limited guidance about the places to visit and limited help in getting transport. Good view of the valley from the rooms.
