The room was a really nice room. Everything was high-class and high-quality.

The staff were quite condescending and rude unfortunately, and this completely tampered down the stay, to the point that I had to cut short two nights. They mentioned that unmarried couples can stay in the hotel, however upon arrival I found out that this isn't the case. I was belittled and told that being a "single lady" by the duty manager, a Mr. Anand, that this wasn't allowed. It was moral policing in 2023 and I'm surprised as well to be honest that this is still a problem. My experience was disappointing and sadly a waste of money. I wouldn't come back, wouldn't recommend the hotel, and I'm a regular visitor to Chennai.

breakfast was disappointing. and to top that one off the cook was tasting the drink hee was making with the same spoon he was stirring it with. yuck. The WC pot seat was set on heating mode in summers. very uncomfortable.
