This property is our favorite one in Chennai. Great location, lots of good restaurants and coffee shops in the neighborhood!

Location and Breakfast

Lift was not very comfortable.

Got good variety in breakfast and taste was good. In house dining menu is sufficient and very tasty. Most important, every staff member's behavior is very polite and friendly.

I missed the kid's pool area where the water level suits the children of age between 3-6 years old. Apart from that I couldn't figure out anything which I don't like.

in the last 1 year i travelled a lot to Chennai due to my work, and i have been staying in Novotel only, facilities are top notch,easy access from Railway station and airport , loved the Breakfast spread, very different from last time when i was there... over all a very good experience, definitely i am coming back for sure....

Nothing as such....

- Good comfortable rooms and bed - Good air conditioning - Staff and Service in restaurant was top notch. - Good desserts and south Indian food. -- danish pastry, mysorepak, dosa were excellent. - Print out facility in hotel loby was excellent and super helpful.

- No AC remote - Limited Hindi/English TV channels. Now they should add smart TV or FireTV options in TV. No one watches cable now. - No North Indian cuisine options in roof top cafe/grill. - Coffee is not delivered by restaurant but only from cafe in lobby and cools down while they bring to room. No kettle option. - A very good variety in breakfast and dinner buffet. But could have inproved on drinks (shakes etc.), Also if there was written menu on live counters then it would have been good and convenient. - I booked a room with "drop to US consulate" but ehen I called half an hour to one hour before travel they denied and said to inform one and a half hour in advance and I had to book and wait for cab. Next day I called 2 hours in advance then they said I should have called a day in advance..but no one mentioned any such requirement while checking in... Although I did get a drop second day at least.

Breakfast, room, & was overcharged

Excellent Breakfast choices and varieties mix of both Indian and continental with superb Pastries which were the highlight of Breakfast. Friendly and very accommodative staffs i.e. Lokesh was very helpful and attentive. The Managers too. Lovely breakfast to look forward to first thing in the morning. The staff handling baggages i.e. Bell Boy and team were very helpful and efficient in helping out with the luggages. The overall stay was so satisfying, comfortable and exceptional service was creme de la creme!

Both restaurants had good food and staff. Expensive.

The rooms felt small and a little run down.
