Fantastic period property sympathetically restored and retains a lot of original features. Set in wonderful peaceful surroundings with lovely gardens and views over the Lincolnshire Wolds. Our hosts were fabulous and dedicated to their passion for the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and airy with excellent fixtures and fittings. A truly beautiful and peaceful place

The property is very elegant, the rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We only ate breakfast and this used very good ingredients and was delicious. The proprietors of the venue are extremely friendly and very attentive and visible.

We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Jim & Kate made us feel so welcome and everyone was so friendly - chatting to us , genuinely interested in our day. They made sure we could park our motorcycle tucked away out of sight by the house which felt safe & secure. The hotel was set in a very quiet & peaceful location and such a relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel was lovely & warm and our room was beautiful with double aspect windows overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside. The bathroom was enormous with a large copper bath and double shower & sinks. A touch of luxury.
We had dinner at the hotel both evenings and food was superb. Breakfast was equally as good. Everything prepared to order and perfectly cooked. Set us up for the rest of the day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cleatham Hall and will have no hesitation booking again when we are back in the area.

Cleatham Hall is a beautiful property which has been modernised with excellent attention to detail. The fittings and furnishings are luxurious and the staff very attentive.

Absolutely amazing place to stay, looking forward to many more visits. The room and views were wonderful, and the staff very welcoming. Awesome food too!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff.
Was extremely quiet. Not a bad thing in itself, but left with the sense we were the only people there, so felt a bit isolated.

A friendly family run boutique hotel. As soon as you walked in you knew this place was special and magical. The hallway and staircase was breathtaking, the bedroom was one the finest I’ve stayed in illustrating English heritage at its finest. Dinner was superb coupled with the service, equally breakfast was one of the best poached eggs I’ve had in years. The couple couldn’t do enough for you and would definitely recommend this place to stay and also as a wedding venue as scenery is gorgeous.

The owners were very helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough to address a few issues that we had. The room was lovely, newly refurbished, very comfortable. The bathroom was actually a wet room since the room we had was equipped for disabled visitors and all the necessary safety aids were in place, but not an issue for able bodied visitor too. Lovely walk in shower, nice back lit make-up mirror. The breakfasts were very nice, the usual choices but also lovely fresh berries, yoghurt and granola, which were really good. We ate dinner in one night. The food was mainly good but you need to pre-order. I had a problem with the pillows provided but the owner did manage to address that quickly by providing alternatives, which was much appreciated.
The room was a bit on the warm side for us and because it was a ground floor room with french doors, there was no option to have the windows open at night time. A small point, and maybe it was because it was a wet room, but there was nowhere in the bathroom to put anything apart from the sink. It would have benefitted from a shelf somewhere.

There was some confusion over the booking and they did not have all our details due to staff changes.

The hosts Jim and Kate were extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.
We were made to feel very special and created some fantastic memories.
Chloe's handling of our booking from the online experience through to departure was the best i have ever experienced.
The hospitality industry would be a much better place with more Chloe's!
