Plenty of parking. Lovely main building. Friendly staff on arrival.

We were given a disabled room (did not ask for one), so we had to bend down to reach the door handles for the main door and bathroom. Although it was a disabled room, there was not much space in the room.

The staff are very friendly. Lovely location & nice leisure facilities. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Our room have food & paper around base of bed & at bedside table. I reported this to reception.

Stayed with my 7 year old daughter before a dog show on Sunday loved the overnight stay with access to the swimming pool my daughter loved it and the room was immaculate.

It was great to have a leisure club with swimming pool, etc. The room and bed were comfortable. The location was handy for our visit to Dundee and Camperdown Wildlife Park.

The leisure club was a bit tatty and not very clean. The water in the pool looked murky. The lockers were rusty. Floors and showers did not look very clean. One of the showers in the women's changing room made a scary rattling noise if you turned it to hot. They don't give you towels in the leisure club, but you have to bring them from your room. So petty, and I've never encountered that anywhere else I've stayed. The breakfast was disappointing. Scrambled eggs rubbery. Mushrooms, bacon, sausages, tomatoes hadn't been fried/grilled enough, but then had been siiting on the hot plate for ages. So they were also a bit rubbery or dried out, without having much flavour. Pain au chocolats were stale and cardboardy - maybe they were from yesterday? Staff at breakfast - there was a helpful young woman who seemed to be running around doing everything, and a young man who seemed a bit glaikit, and just stood around staring into space. But the worst bit, was when we went for a stroll before dinner, taking the footpath to Invergowrie, which happens to go past the hotel's bins. Where we disturbed a number of rats - at least six - who scurried in all directions. I caught some of them on video, on our way back. I realise that rats and other vermin are common and attracted to human food waste. But they are also nocturnal and try to avoid humans. For so many to be easy to spot in broad daylight, I'd assume the hotel must have a sizeable infestation.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location. Room was really big and the bathroom had both a shower and a bath. The actual restaurant was closed the night we stayed but we ate in the bar and the food was good. The reception staff were really helpful and polite.

Shame the restaurant was closed as it had a larger choice of food than the bar menu.

The room was good apart from the lack of a centre light.

The lighting in the room was poor. The breakfast looked lovely but was cold. The plates were in a plate warmer that wasn't on, so they were freezing. The food that wasn't on the main hot plates was cold too, mushrooms, hash browns, beans etc. The water for the tea wasn't boiling. It was in one of those portable water carrier things that keeps liguids sort of hot but not enough for tea.

Breakfast wasn’t great

While the room itself was fine, the food/service for dinner and today for lunch has been exceptionally poor and even dangerous. On the first night I called reception in advance to check when room service was available and if the full menu was available. I was advised room service would be available from 6pm, but was welcome to place my order in advance and they would prepare as soon as possible. I called back to place my order at 5:40 and asked for it to be sent up as soon as possible despite chasing again by phone at 6:45, no food arrived until around 7:15. This is awful service, especially as the food was preordered. Then the next day, I came down to the bar at 12:45 for lunch. I am vegan so there isn't usually a lot of choice for me when travelling, but I had seen the menu in my room and there was an option that would suit. When i got to the bar, I tried to order the vegan meatball sandwich, to be told they dont actually do that. The server was kind and apologetic and went to speak to the chef to see if they were any options available, to which i was offered an egg mayo sandwich. When I explained yet again that I was vegan and didnt eat meat, dairy or egg, so couldnt have that, the server kindly went to check again, and I was offered a cheese and tomato sandwich - also not vegan. At this point I abandoned all hope of a sandwich, and enquired about the soup. I was informed the soup was tomato and red pepper. This seemed suitable so i went ahead with it. When it arrived it was a strange colour and I was unsure about it, but was told it was indeed tomato and red pepper. I began to eat - it was bland and lukewarm, but at least it was something. I was almost finished when the server came back out from the kitchen, went to the blackboard, and rubbed out "tomato and red pepper soup", and replaced it with what seemed to say curry.

Fantastic stay at this hotel everyone was lovely and helpful. Hotel was lovely as was our rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Can't fault hotel at all.

Scenery is beautiful. Conservatory where breakfast is located is stunning and the grounds are very well maintained.

Room wasn’t spotless. Quite a lot of dust and it seemed the carpet wasn’t hoovered. Door handle was strangely low on door so you had to bend down to open and enter room.

Ran my finger through the TV and it was snowing dust Holes in the walls and moulds Abstruct noises at night like thumping on the window felt world like war 3 Toilet flush would sound like ur on a train would take about 10 minutes to flush Face felt REALLY dry after using the water But good location X NOTHING LIKE WHAT WAS IN THE PICTURES

Rooms were huge and lovely, so clean and bed was so comfy!

TV didn’t work properly. Poor breakfast. Find our own table. Had to ask for cutlery to lay our own table. Number of food items missing or short supply

Nice sized room with a good shower in bathroom. Good breakfast in morning and it was available v early (6am) which suited us. Pool facilities were good, water was warm and also had a sauna and steam room available. Plenty of parking available and location was great, just off the motorway but also close to the Dundee.

Some cups at breakfast were stained, might need a better dishwasher.

Lovely breakfast great service from lady with badges such a delight with our little boy Swimming pool great treated our little boy to pool for first time such a great experience Had such a lovely stay which made our family holiday very special Coconut ice-cream at dinner was amazing would love to know who's ice-cream 😋

It’s nice that there is a swimming pool. The bed was also pretty good, big and soft.

The breakfast is okay, but it is very simple. Also the hotel could use a little touch up here and there.

Stayed midweek, both nights weddings were being hosted, so it was a bit noisy. One ring of rooms backs onto function room so if your working and need the quiet makes sure you all for rooms away from that area. Breakfast was not very good, first day some items cold and rubbery, next day greatly reduced choice which want very good on the first day, unless breakfast is included in your rate I wouldn't pay for it

The hotel was understaffed which showed they did everything they could. The breakfast was terrible due to no staff. It was a shame the staff were worked of their feet.

The breakfast was very poor, the rooms are tired and not like the hotel when it was a Hilton. There needs to be a large investment into the hotel and more staff employed.
