Staff was so helpful and so nice! As a traveler, you should know a few Japanese phrases and download a translation app. It will make things easier for you and the staff. Location is excellent. We walked around the lake. We ate in the hotel every morning and night - excellent food. Our rooms were very quiet with a lake view. Self-serve laundry (need Yen coins) very clean, easy to use. Great wifi, and A/C in the rooms. We stayed 4 nights. We would absolutely stay here again!

The view and the hot spring. We had a private hot spring bath with Fuji mount view but could not see anything at night time🙃

We couldn’t contact the hotel to organise shuttle from station, however this was a problem with our international provider not the hotel. Mt Fuji view is not guaranteed - book maybe 5 days. Half our stay the clouds covered the view.

Fantastic staff. Superb location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fuji Lake Hotel.The staff persons are very caring and concerned about our well being. The location is superb-right next to the Fuji Lake . The views of Fujisan are stunning on the other side. There is a very nice bakery just opposite the hotel, managed by the French chef of the hotel. The bike rental store is just across the street and there’s an Indian restaurant at walking distance with vegetarian options. We loved this place and would love to come here again and again.

We were picked up and returned to Kawaguchiko station which we appreciated. We were given refreshments on arrival. Our room overlooking the lake was wonderful. We appreciated the Yukata robes and really liked the private onsen which meant that as an opposite sex couple we could enjoy together. If it had not been in cloud, the private bath would have had a great view of Fuji san. The staff were all excellent and very polite. The observation room at the top of the hotel gave us our first real view of Mount Fuji as it had been cloudy on arrival. The food was excellent, the buffet evening meal had so much choice and was of a very high quality.

It was expensive but worth it for a day's luxury. Had to request bath towels
