We absolutely loved this oceanfront home and would love to book it again! It is located in the nicest part of Gulf Shores with panoramic views of the ocean from the back and beautiful views of the bay in the front. The house has its own, large private beach just steps away! The interior of the home was absolutely beautiful and setup for cooking. Becky the property manager was the best hostess. Hope to visit this dream home again!

This house is phenomenal! We have been coming to Gulf Shores now for several years and have tried several different houses throughout our time, but this one is far and away the best we've ever stayed at. Property was pristine, spacious, and clean, but the absolute shining star is the host. Becky is super communicative, makes everything easy, and is incredibly friendly. She let us know ahead of time that we were able to check in early due to an early departure, and when I messaged her about trivial matters such as not being able to work the TV remote she was so prompt to respond and quickly solved the issue without making me feel silly. Perhaps most notably, when I messaged her about sand flies to ask if there were any tips she had, she not only recommended two different bug spray products but she placed the order from Walmart herself and had them delivered that same day to our door! This attention to detail is unmatched by any host I've interacted with before, and she did everything possible to make our trip as wonderful as it could be. The house itself is wonderful: the patio furniture outdoors is perfect for just relaxing with a book on the deck and listening to the ocean, and the kitchen is phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone!

My family and I just enjoyed our vacation here. Communication with the owner was great very easy to work with. Home was extremely clean and well stocked to make vacationing easy and fun. We will definitely be staying there again!

We decided to try the Gulf Coast over the Atlantic this year. The water was warmer, the weather was a bit warmer, and the sand was a little softer. The beach house was on the less populated end of Gulf Shores Beach and we definitely had lots and lots of beach space to ourselves. Aside from the Hangout Festival congestion in the main beach area, it was an overall relaxing time. 😎

The views from the private ocean front deck are superb. Walk a short distance to a wide beach with white sand and return to the most comfortable home away from home one can find. If you like, shower in the master bath that provides a private window overlooking the gulf. Dress for dinner in the spacious master bedroom suite and take a short drive to an incredible selection of seafood restaurants. Or, if you fancy to eat at home, the best of chefs will immediately fall in love with the kitchen. Throughout your entire stay you will be challenged to be wanting for anything. If you can't enjoy this beach home with all of its uniqueness, then a beach vacation is not for you. My spouse, who is always ready to go home after a week at the beach said it best. "I could stay here for two months and love it every day."

We recently stayed at this beautiful home and had a fantastic time. Everything was perfect. The home was beautifully decorated and super clean. The property manager, Becky was wonderful to us and made sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The views from every room were stunning and we had the whole beach to ourselves all week. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed to cook some meals on the nights we weren’t stuffing ourselves with tasty local shrimp at the many great restaurants nearby. It was the perfect location. We were all sad to leave, but we will definitely book this property again. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit to the Gulf Shores area and we feel like we lucked out in finding this home to stay at. It felt so easy just walking out over the sand dune to get to the beach. We never had to worry about lugging everything too far and never had to worry about too many people in the area. I also feel that we were lucky in the fact that we saw dolphins from the house and/or beach every day during our stay. It was a treat for us midlanders. Although it's kind of a drive getting places mostly because of summer traffic then anything else there are a ton of great options in the area for food. We had great communication from the owner. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.

Becky is a top notch owner and manager! The Southern Palms Beachside was very clean and easy to relax in for a week of vacation. The house is very well equipped and the deck overlooking the gulf provides an aspect of privacy. We all had a very wonderful time and definitely highly recommend Southern Palms Beachside.

Loved this property! The master suite on one end of the house and other bedrooms on the other end, all joined by the great room in the center. The views of the beach are amazing. The house sits back from the road and just a hop across the dune and you are on the beach. It is far enough out of town to enjoy the peace but close enough to get anything you might need. Definitely would stay again.

Our family had a great time at gulf shores. The beach house was nice, clean and spacious. The family room furniture was a little different than shown on vrbo; however it worked well for us. Deck and beach view is A+. We would stay here again.

When looking for rentals, I was interested in the beach area/view and this property did not disappoint! The beach was beautiful, and very secluded yet you are not far from town. The home was lovely as well, bright, spacious and comfortable! The owners were helpful, and had great communication with us! We hope to rent again and would highly recommend this property. On a scale form 1 - 10 this property is easily a 10+. To begin our week, we received a text from the owner that the house was ready 2 hours before the normal check in time. When arriving we found the house to be extremely clean and matched the pictures in the listing perfectly. The kitchen was fully stocked. Not with just a few pots and pans, but everything you will need. All rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The location is perfect. Far enough away from the condos and hotels to be quiet, but close enough for an easy drive to restaurants and shopping. Every day we had the beach to ourselves except for the occasional walker.
If you are looking for a quality house for 2 couples or a family, this is the place. We will definitely rent again.

The glass/windows at this property were well cleaned. Usually at home rental!! The windows were sparkling clean which made the view SPECTACULAR!!! Overall the home was well cleaned. Lots of room for us girls to chat in the open living area. We had a very relaxing and wonderful girls trip. Thank you for sharing your beach home!

Let me start by saying Becky was a dream to work with. So sweet! We have stayed in many homes in Gulf Shores years ago & this one by far has to be our new favorite! We came back to celebrate our 20th anniversary—-Many homes have been added - lots of construction, we were quite surprised but this home is still private - far enough out away from the busy but still close enough to great places to eat and shop for convenience. We felt right at home having everything we needed right there from cookware to bicycles of which we rode for the first time in 30 years 😊 Check In/Out was a breeze which means a lot to us. The decor is beautiful & relaxing!!!! The views of which I have saved for last …. Are AMAZING!!!! Every single room in the house has a beach view - we opened the blinds in the bedroom each morning & just watched waves & water! My Dad came down from Pensacola to fish a couple of days & was shocked at how private & beautiful the home was. Absolutely Stunning!!!! I would love to go back every single year!!!!! This home is great for couples & families and I could definitely see a girls trip being perfect! Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. 💕

Our family had a wonderful vacation, luckily bypassing Hurricane Ian. The beach home was lovely, met all of our needs. Very clean and well appointed. The beach seemed like our private oasis. We would highly recommend this home and again we had an excellent time!

My family and I had visited Gulf Shores previously in 2018 and had a wonderful time.
We decided to come back and stay at a different location and we are soooo happy we did. This home is spotless and feels like home. It fit our family perfectly.
We were blessed with perfect weather even though it was supposed to rain all week. This allowed us to spend quality beach time. The sand was white and water clear. The kids were able to snorkel one of the days and found blue crabs, leopard sting ray and many other interesting shells.
In summary this was just what we needed and feel comfortable enough to book this place in the future.

The house was gorgeous, with tons of giant windows looking out onto the ocean. Just a few steps to the beach, which was practically empty most of the time- it was like having our own private beach!

This is a great house for two couples (as we were) or families with children. The kitchen was fully equipped and huge! The deck had ample seating for everyone. It’s a little further out and a lot less crowded than up by all the houses and condos. It was the cleanest house we have ever rented and we come at least once a year. It was perfect for us! You sometimes are hesitant that where you plan your stay will not be as nice as nice as the pictures. But, I can promise you that this home, EXCEED all expectations! Everything was absolutely perfect. My only regret, is not staying longer. Thank you for everything, we will be back!

Peaceful Family Trip
We had a lovely time here and hope to return again soon! Check-in was very easy, the location was perfect, owners are incredibly nice and helpful, and most of all it felt like home. There were a few things that needed fixing, but nothing that would keep us away. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
