We liked the renovated rooms, friendly staff and location. The breakfast was solid and the pool was good fun too.

The fridge in our room made a noise throughout the day and housekeeping didn't always replenish all the amenities during a clean. The breakfast offerings were sometimes a bit cold (suggest keeping lids on) and the price of the accommodation is very high compared to alternates.

Good location. Small serviced apartments are always better when travelling with a toddler. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a walk in closet also that accommodated a lot of our stuff. Cleaning was done everyday except weekend but they still provided towels and water on weekend. They were very hospitable and provided us lot of water bottles.

Apartment was spacious and clean. The Included breakfast was always great and they alternated the dishes so something different each morning.

Two bathrooms with toilets but only one hand washing soap dispenser. When we asked for a second we were told ‘no’. Had to put liquid soap in a saucer in second bathroom. Not good enough.

Uff... No room service on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is the same every day and not mix of everything, poor breakfast. In Malaysia was much better for much much less money. From the corridor is coming sound and lights, because the door leaf is too short or the door does not have a threshold that would prevent everything.

Large spacious apartments that are quiet, comfortable and well-equipped (including a washing machine but no washing powder). There is a 24 hour reception and hence it is easy to leave luggage before check-in or after check-out (unlike with an Airbnb). The location is a short walk from Somerset MRT, the shops of Orchard Road, a supermarket and restaurants. Orchard Grant Court does not offer the extras one might look for on a holiday (bar, restaurant, spacious communal area, etc.) but is perfect for a business trip or budget-conscious visit to Singapore.

1.Hallways are uncarpeted lending to noise pollution. 2.Door closure of rooms could be less noisy. 3.Full blackout curtains need to be installed. 4.Entrance to the only in-house cafe needs to be within the property.

The location and the behavior of support staff Mr. Malik.

The front desk staff were not supportive enough. We were assigned a room that smelled damp, had noises coming from the fridge, had broken window blinds and was without a window side seat. We requested them to put us in another room but none of them seemed to be bothered. Especially the two young Indian ladies seemed pretty uncooperative. This time the rates were extremely high and our stay was not at all pleasant like it was last year.

The trick is: good pictures on Booking.com, (but absolutely not honest pictures!), and a non-refundable fee on the total amount of the duration your stay - the reservation can’t be cancelled even if you don’t like what you see when you get there. Once you get to this place and see what you put yourself to, it’s too late, you need to pay the entire stay as is non-refundable/non-changeable (I booked via Booking.com). Unfortunately we had to endure our stay at Orchard “Grand Court” as we could not afford booking another hotel, spending again such a huge amount (2950,€ ). Towels are falling apart and stained, the smell in the air is of oily food, the bathroom is outdated and absolutely dirty, black fungus basically everywhere in the shower area and behind water tap, stained and cracked walls, it definitely needs fresh paint, even better, a whole make-over in order to make up for the price they ask and what they offer. This place should be asking for 1/4 of the price, as they’re billing the same as good hotel chains but can’t offer the minimum comfort and cleanliness!! For the same amount, you can stay at a way better places in Singapore! Don’t waste your money coming here. Overall is just a “hotel / serviced apartment” that doesn’t deserve one star. Even the pillows can’t be saved: place your head in the pillow to touch the mattress, you’d need to fold the pillow in two or to get a few of them in order to support the weight of your head a few centimeters up. Everything here is from the worse quality ever. Unfortunately, my daughter and I had to endure a 14 night stay at this place; I contacted Booking.com via phone and emails for several days and they didn’t come up with a solution. I’d be very happy to have moved hotels or to get a refund from the remaining of the nights so I could still try to save a few days of my holidays. That didn’t happen. Booking.com just spent my time on emails up and down, but offered absolutely no solution.

Well stocked gym, great pool, washer/dryer in room, top location near Orchard Road shops and MRT subway. Very good western cafe across the road with good coffee. Great supermarket right underneath the hotel and a pharmacy as well. Hotel staff will organise taxis for you.
