The location was wonderful, we enjoyed the beautiful view overthe canals, and we thought the room had a excellent functionality. It was great that it had two entrances, and the young man at the desk was extremely professional and helpful.

One young lady staff member was terrible. We asked for help ringing our driver, because our mobile phone sim card did not have call function. We were arranging pickup to the airport the next morning. The young lady said she could not, because it wasn't 'the hotel drivers'. I asked her to just ring the number and I would talk to them, she said she would have to go and ask if she could. She came back, and said 'wait a minute' so we sat down waiting. In the meantime 2-3 guests came and she dealt with them first. I was annoyed as we had been first, and she only had to make a phone call. After 7-8 minutes and still she is dealing with other people, I said 'don't worry', we will do it later. She said 'sorry, but I have guests to deal with.' I said "I am a guest too, and I was first" but she just shrugged. It was a terrible effort on her part. In contrast, I asked the young man to do it. He did it immediately and organised everything in about 30 seconds.

Single room wasn’t good, poor mattress, shower head needed fixing, had to step out of bathroom to open door and get in shower, some areas not cleaned properly, couldn’t use mirror without bending neck.

Hotel molto accogliente, le camere sono spaziose (a differenza di molti altri hotel ad Amsterdam); dispone di una grande hall dove è possibile intrattenersi con alcuni giochi tra cui il tavolo da biliardo, inoltre è presente un rubinetto per riempire le bottiglie di acqua gratuitamente. Lo staff ci ha aiutati ad effettuare il check-in/out anche se ci sono delle postazioni a disposizione per farlo in autonomia. Posizione eccellente a due passi dalla piazza Rembrandtplein e dalla fermata del tram.

The room was terrible located on the 5th floor with no view, small and tiny, no worth paying that much to that awful room , the lady checked us in was very odd in her behavior.

Extremely noisy, we were canal side so hear ever car going by and the windows are extremely thin. Beds were uncomfortable as well. Asked for a double but given two singles. Won’t be staying again

The breakfast was ok, not the best selection, but good enough. The little snack shop was a good addition for 24 hour access. The location was very good near to Rembrandt Square.

I had a single room and definitely was not value for money. I wanted to like this hotel as it looked good on the pictures. The room was not cleaned very well such as the bathroom and the bin had rubbish in it. Items weren't replaced such as water. There was a horrible smell when you walked into the room. The closest I could compare the room to was a one star Formula 1 hotel I stayed in France once many years ago where it was basic, old and rushly cleaned. The annoying thing was the price. It was around 190 euros a night, which is completely unacceptable for the poor quality of the room, which was booked in advance. I appreciate Amsterdam is expensive, but this was ridiculous. I suspect however I probably had a duff room compared to what others might have and just unlucky, hopefully for you. Good luck!

The location was fantastic because we could walk to most of the main tourist sights or catch a tram just outside the hotel. Plenty of variety for breakfast. The staff was very helpful with booking restaurants and taxis.

Great location!! The staff is very nice and welcoming and Whenever I needed they were very quick to respond, all the time with a smile. Rooms are clean and the bed is so comfortable. I love that you get 4 different pillows (soft to hard) to choose from! Its not my first time here and I'm sure I will return in the future.

The location was OK, sometimes seedy at night, but close to train, and sits on canal.
