Amazing breakfast. When it rained they gave us umbrellas to use no charge. Printed all the papers we needed no charge. The staff is super nice.

Room key policy - you must give back and take away the key every single time you leave the hotel. Lobby is not suited to reading or chilling or basically anything. No ironing service on weekends.

Close to the city center. It has a restaurant so if you arrive late you can have a quick dinner. It has an elevator so do not have to carry bags in the stairs.

I asked for a quiet room as the hotel has one side on the street with the tram. I was told I can have a quiet one for axtra 10euro. It was already too expensive for what it offered but really needed a good sleep. But the good sleep never came as the pillows are crap and the mattress was way to hard for my back. And, for breakfast included option if you want an omlette or fried eggs you pay extra.

Great staff, excellent location and very ample breakfast.

Room was a bit small but adequate. A rubber mat in the bathtub would make it safer when entering and getting out from taking a shower.

Lovely old fashioned hotel with helpful professional staff. Comfortable room with lots of space. Comfortable bed. Good Wifi. Good access to public transport.

There were quite a few steps between the entrance and the tiny lift which makes it difficult if you have mobility issues. The public areas were small (and there was a large noisy English group crowding these areas on the last day of our stay). Breakfast was indifferent. Restaurant always fully booked in the evenings.

Hotel spotless clean, staff friendly and nothing was too much trouble, breakfast first class couldn't fault it Perfectly situated for trams, cafes, restaurants and a short walk to the centre

Exceptional staff, very pleasant, helpfull, polite. Excellent location. Big choice of teas and jam for the breakfast, among other good choices, of course :)

breakfast: positive are the fresh vegatables and fruits available. meal at night: backhandle is more breadcrumbs than meat. not my taste. the Location: very good, but also expensive.

I liked the location, the breakfast was nice. The room depends on how you make your reservation. I decided not to prepay and pay until I was there. We travelled with friends who did prepay and the difference for the 4 nights was around 250 euros which was allot. My friends got an outside remodeled room whilst we got an inside un-remodelled room with a separate toilet and older beds. It makes for an interesting stay since the hotel has allot of history.

Since I did not prepay we got a room facing the "courtyard" if you can call it that. The room had the toilet in a separate location but still within the room, separate from the shower and the sink. I took it up with the manager, Ricardo, and he was reluctant to make changes arguing that our room was older but better. The newer rooms are facing the street, remodeled with modern bath accessories and very comfortable beds. At the end they did make it right but it took some arguing which I do not like doing on my vacation. Parking was separate and I had to pay around 29 euros a night.

I would like to thank the staff for their kind service.The hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is also good for sightseeing. We would like to stay again when we can come back.

Great location. Very professional staff. Rooms were very quiet. The breakfast was excellent.

There was an outlet that didn’t work and it took a couple of days and mentions to different staff to get it fixed.

Room with good size, superb breakfast,location is close to public transport and downtown. Many shops around. Proffessional and polite staff and offcourse , well kept historical building.

The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. The location is excellent: pleasant surroundings, close to some main attractions and public transport stations.
