- The sheets were stained with something brown. -There was ductape on our window to stop us from opening it. - someone in the apartment block cooked Indian so the whole block smelt like very strong Indian the whole 3 nights we stayed there. - Felt like it hadn’t been vacuumed properly as the floor had sand all through the apartment.

Close to everything

Pool cold. Residents think they owned the place. Kids had to keep noise down.

Since it was a public holiday it was a non-staff at this time. Nice pool area and close to the beach and main street. The room was in poor shape. Needs a upgrade and a smaller renovation to get the more fresh and cosy feeling. Was a hole in the wall that was ficed with ducktape and upon arrival there was no water. Had to call a number we got so the plumber could come and put it on. This place is to expensive to what it's worth and they try to charge you for every small thing upon check out if you forgot something that isn't due to the cleaning ladies duties. Which seemed to be everything. Basically you pay for a good location. Not fort a comfortable stay at a nice hotel/resort/facility

The apartment unit (#65) was renovated: functional kitchen with modern equipment and great showers in the bathrooms. The pool was pleasantly heated and the garden area was lovely. The complex was mainly occupied by permanent residents (older people) and it was nice and quiet and the kids loved having the pool to themselves a lot of the time. Great location close to Surfers Paradise main area and Northcliffe beach (all at walking distance), but far enough for it to be relatively quiet. Reception staff were friendly.

The bedrooms are right next to the tram line so you hear every single tram going past from early morning to late night. A few additional items like a coffee table and a washing basket would be useful. Lounge and kitchen areas were spacious, but bedrooms and bathrooms were relatively small. Note that there are no lifts so upper level units might be a bit hard for those who are less mobile. Sauna and spa in the pool area did not work. WIFI was not functional in our unit. We also had cigarette smoke wafting through from neighbouring unit(s) every day: not great for us and our children.

Great location, outdoor shared areas eg pool,BBQ,pool toilet, parking all clean maintained and general good order for the age of the complex. Tram stop not even a half stubbie walk away. Walking distance to Cavill Ave.

Room needs a Reno carpet needs replacement asap stairs carpet is a spinal accident waiting to happen. Curtains in bedroom need replacement as they don't keep the light pollution from the signage at bay requires eye mask to sleep. Window in bedroom would benefit from double glazed to reduce the noise from the tram every 10 minutes until 1pm started again at 5am so if you only need 4hrs sleep you're in luck. Water jug in fridge wouldn't go astray. $40 to empty the bathroom bin. More thoughts went into the service charge notices pasted through out the room compared to the upkeep of the room. Water damaged, dated and worn out. Would have been good in the day. At least put a Queen size bed in it's not a big ask. 3.5 stars telling em they're dreaming.

How close it was to everything

Everything was old and out dated, the couch was broken, the beds were rock hard, it was filthy dirty and there was bugs in the kitchen

Nothing the place was run down and filthy. Air Con didn’t work many other appliances either broken or not clean.

Nothing, we couldn’t stay there.

It was filthy, unsafe and unpleasant. We booked elsewhere to get away from this property! It is nothing like the photos.

Location was great. Walking distance to beach and surfers paradise shopping and light rail.

The unit below has a door co joining at the bottom of the stairs. And the person had the tv very loud all night and making odd noises. So privacy is a concern. Also the door to the balcony is broken and doesn't lock properly. We did not sleep well because mainly the person in the unit below the whole night both nights with the tv and disturbing noises.
