The aesthetics were on point,especially loved the paintings in the reception,rooms,hallway.Breakfast was exceptional and the staff brilliant.Rooms have smart TV which our son loved as he could watch Netflix.Location is also good as it’s a two minutes walk from the ferry

Central location. Lovely pool. Beautiful building - amazing views from 4th floor rooftop restaurant. Great authentic Zanzibari breakfast options. We loved the chickpea curry, banana in coconut sauce and roti. Other breakfast options such as cereal and pastries were also available. Staff were very helpful.

Both of our rooms smelt a bit musty / of cigarette smoke. Slightly pricy but this will be driven by the hotel's location.

For a boutique hotel in Stone Town, it was a pleasant stay. The view from the rooftop restaurant is nice over the ocean albeit it's partially blocked by the containers of the seaport. There's a grocery store in the next building and a currency exchange office. If you're checking out early before breakfast time, you can ask for a breakfast box to be prepared for you. But you have to request it the night before your check out. The receptionists are awesome! They're very friendly and helpful. We forgot an item that we remembered while in the airport, and the receptionist (Iman) was kind enough to ship it to our next hotel in Dar Es Salaam.
