Location is perfect

temperature in the room is too low and we can’t adjust it through the switch on the wall until you directly turn it off.

Great location. Reasonable price.

Centralised air con, couldnt turn it off and my room was 14 degrees. No heating available even when I called the front desk.

The location, directly beneath the Taipei 101 where (supposedly) THE New Year's fireworks take place; closeby the malls and lots of dining possibilities. Easily reachable via MRT (due to area being closed down for the NY celebration/fireworks). Lots of taxi stands nearby Taipei 101 as well.

The Hotel. I probably didn't do my research properly and only went based on the location linked to (impressive) IG photos, which, in hindsight were probably wrongly linked (intentional or not, who knows). The hotel did not meet my expectations at all. It had more of a bunker than of a hotel. Also, the NY Celebration on the outside terrace was totally not my style and not cozy, festive at all; perhaps because the Chinese NY is the main event here in Taiwan. That being said, the Taipei 101 firework was also the "coldest" / saddest one I've ever seen. Taiwanese people simply don't have the same feelings for this NY celebration as what I've seen and felt in these past 40+ years. Only ten minutes after the fireworks had ended, all people disappeared into the MRT or back to their hotel.
