Property manager was mowing the lawn and left clippings. Hard not to track grass everywhere including into the house. The party barn was littered with owner’s personal belongings and not cleaned. It was also further from the house than anticipated. However the owner was on site quite a bit to check in on our group to ask if we needed or wanted anything.

Wonderful location and beautiful view of Lake Erie. In spite of the many knickknacks throughout the house, it suited our group of 6 adults and 7 children well enough. The host was available to answer any questions or help if needed. The only downside was that it was impossible to wash the towels, linens and dishes, and then put them away while also feeding children, packing up and getting ready for travel. So if there’s a penalty for that, so be it.

Perfect for our size family. Great firepit and beautiful sunsets.

It was fast and easy to do

It’s exactly what we expected. Slept in the house but spent all our time in the barn. Played cards, pool, darts and watched football. If you are throwing a bachelor party I would recommend this place. Golf course was 15 minutes down the road.

GREAT VIEWS OF THE LAKE.

We stayed at Cam's place for the annual Thunder on the Strip bike rally. There were 9 of us and PLENTY of room for everyone! (4 couples and a single) This location is just beautiful inside and there is plenty of back yard space to cook out or enjoy a night by the fire. The interior of the home is super spacious and pretty much everything we needed was right there! It is far enough from the strip that we weren't up all night with noise from the bars (not walking distance for sure) but close enough it didn't take forever to get to the places we wanted to be. Cam, the owner, was super friendly and helpful in locating less busy places to eat with such a big group. I honestly don't have anything to complain about! Some might balk at couples having to share a bedroom but, for our group, it was just fine. Would definitely stay again!

Good time and get away. Had a bachelor party setup and had games with drinking and hanging out. Not far from the town there either. Fire helped with the mayflies (so definitely recommending grabbing some wood). Living area inside is really good for the group and cards, watching sports, etc. Back barn had tv, pool table, fire pit, grilling, etc. Cool guy's hang-out type place. Would go again.

Great place to host a bachelor party. We were able to still have a good time while places were shutting down early due to the pandemic. There is plenty to do nearby and I highly recommend visiting here.

We stayed at Newph's landing last weekend with a group of friends. Several unsettling incidents occurred while we were at the property. First of all, the property is not clean. The floors are dirty and there are cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Second, when you rent the property, the owner requires you to rent out the back barn. He requires you to pay in cash, you cannot pay through the app, to avoid taxes and fees. In addition, if you have ANY additional guests he requires you to pay in cash. He also lives in the back barn and says he is "cool with everything" and "won't bother you". This is completely false. He will lurk around your parties the entire night and his personal kitchen is in the back barn. The state of the back barn is also disgusting. It is not clean, the bar area everything is rusted and not wiped down and the couches have holes and are discolored and brown. In addition, when we needed to pay for our additional guests, he refused to let us pay through the app. As we were 5 hours from our home, he took advantage of us being on the property. He then pulled my boyfriend into his apartment where he has loaded guns laying around and knives. He also informed my boyfriend that he has had to come at his tenants with guns before. Then he calls my boyfriend a "cab" which was unmarked, and made him go to the ATM. This man is an absolute fraud and con artist. We have reported him with VRBO, BBB, and plan to file charges. For reference, we have paid him close to four thousand dollars in total for this incredibly terrible stay. Now, he will reply to this review stating that we "did not follow our rental agreement." However, I have pictures of the way we left the house, all cash paid to him, and plenty of other negative reviews (that I wish I had read before we went on this trip). Feel free to contact me for ANY of this evidence! We followed every single ridiculous cleaning request he has in his rental request and he only returned part of our deposit (again, just conning us into more money). When I asked him for evidence of what we left wrong and the name of his cleaning company his reply was "Too late, job is already done." Overall, horrible horrible place to stay.

The house is big so it was nice for hosting. The home owner is a very nice person and helpful. It is a Lakehouse so there were bugs/decor that reflected that.

Newph's Landing and it's owner, Cam, were great! We were a group of 10 adults (35+) and spent the 4th of July weekend at the house and barn. From the beginning, Cam was beyond helpful as we prepared for the trip, and once onsite he was attentive, fun, and made the weekend easy and fun. The house is larger than it looks in pictures, plenty of space and well stocked. The barn is such a fun addition. The backyard of the house is also spacious and we spent many afternoons/evenings sitting there by the fire pit. The best part by far is the view! We spent every evening watching the sunset over the water. If you are looking for a easy and fun house, this is it!

We had a wonderful time staying in Geneva on the Lake.. I was a little disappointed in the charge to rent the back barn when it was not something we wanted or something we used. The cleaning list upon leaving was a little over the top but Cameron was a pleasant person who wanted us to have a good time!

The view of the lake was beautiful. The house was nice and comfortable. We had a great time.

We enjoyed staying a Newph's Landing. The home was very comfortable. Bedrooms were nice size and having 2 bathrooms made it very nice. My favorite part was the big back yard which was a surprise to me. I have 2 small dogs and the back yard was perfect. You will enjoy sitting it the living room and looking out to the lake. Beautiful! Everything you needed for a nice stay was provided. We met Newph (owner) on our arrival he introduced himself and he gave us a tour of the home, which I have never had anyone do. It was nice because there was no guessing where anything was or a problem with something being wrong. He came and replaced a light bulb I never even noticed was out. Very nice gentleman. We toured most of the wineries located here and it was so nice staying so close to all of them. If you are looking for a nice convenient place to stay then I would recommend staying here. Cameron is a really nice guy and his new dog is just the best :) We had a great time, it was cozy and comfortable place to stay. Not too far from the strip. Nice relaxing weekend!

The required list is below: Newph’s Landing Suggested Cleaning Requirements Damage / Cleaning Deposit Refund • All bedding and towels to be washed, folded and put back in their appropriate places • 2 towels, 2 hand towels, 2 washcloths per bed on top of bedding and blanket • All kitchen counters to be wiped and cleaned including microwave and refrigerator • Refrigerator must be cleaned and emptied of all food except sustainable condiments • Coffee Maker, Stove and Toaster Oven to be clean • Kitchen sink and dishwasher to be emptied and all dishes & utensils back in appropriate places • All carpeted areas to be vacuumed - kitchen and bathroom floors to be swept and mopped • Bathroom sinks and tubs to be wiped clean and rinsed with Scrubby Bubbles provided under bathroom sinks • All glass table tops to be wiped clean with Spray Glass Cleaner found in laundry room • All patio and lawn chairs to be put back in appropriate places • All garbage to be put on back porch in large garbage cans for pickup “Please do not overfill or stuff” • Gas Grill on Patio to be cleaned. Heat to 500 and use provided wire brush • Any and all broken items including dishes, cups, and chairs, please notify the owner before your departure

We enjoyed the large living room, the great private back yard and beautiful sunsets. The little ones loved it as well. Hope to return.

The owner was very nice but the property wasn't clean at all and it also needs a lot of updates.

The house was really nice and he provided a lot with it. We mostly brought want we wanted and what we needed, even small necessities, were provided. The added barn was awesome and secluded to a point where we had our space and privacy and was able to do what we pleased. The owner, Cameron, was chill and relaxed... Making us feel very welcome during our stay. Not very often do you mind that that owner is that close by. All in all, me and all of the guys had an awesome time... I would strongly suggest this place to anyone looking to spend some time in Geneva. The place is also relatively close to some great fishing spots.

Stayed at Newph's Landing for my daughters bachlorette party. Plenty of room for 10 people. Fantastic view of Lake Erie. Geneva-on-the-Lake a short distance away. Newph's Landing was exactly what we were looking for.

Great view, house was clean and neat we had 10 men there for a fishing trip and only needed 2 blowup mattresses 2 nice decks with grill. nice living room with plenty of seating. Towel and linens provided you must wash and fold before you leave. all in all a good place to stay. Cameron is very helpful and easy to work with,
