Wi-Fi connectivity and location

Only pro about the hotel is the location. Colaba market and gateway of india is 10 minutes away by cab. But all the cons make this a pathetic place to stay at.

- The mattress was so uncomfortable that we couldn’t sleep the first night. We asked them to change it but the new one was not much better. - The lift is only till the third floor, after which you have to take stairs to the fourth floor (which is where our room originally was). we got it changed but if you cant, be prepared to climb stairs - The room looks much much worse than what the photos show- beware - We asked for water at the reception in the morning and they said they can only give water bottles in the room once its been cleaned (what???!) - Breakfast has very limited options - Room ACs, fans and furniture are from a different century and need refurbishment. Overall- our stay was very unpleasant and uncomfortable. definitely do not recommend this property to others.

Washbasin was leaking Water for bath was not hot enough Plug points were not adequate

The room was very pricey when compared to the actual facilities provided.. The bedsheet did not look very clean and also had hair strands here and there.. Did not get hot water in the shower on the 1st day.

Grand Hotel gave us an old-world flair experience in a 100 year old building filled with history. We stayed in a harbour room only accessible by a classic staircase which we reminsced on the way to the room every day. The elevator is one that you can expect to find in classic black & white movies with soft music playing. In our room, we got to enjoy the sight of sea eagles in the mornings as well as other marine birds in the area. The hotel is situated at a convenient & safe location with access to popular sites in Mumbai. It is a well-maintained property and kept very clean. All staff including, front desk, restaurant and housekeeping provided us great attention and care throughout our stay and ensured that we have a pleasant time at the hotel. We would definitely come back again and hope that it is very soon.

Breakfast could be improved to accommodate more food options.
