Lack of light in bathroom and light leakage into room from common areas. Also not enough parking

I really liked the property, clean and quite. We stayed there for 2 nights one day in room 6 and next day on room -3. No complain, beautiful. I will stay again and again.

Mostly clean

Not as advertised, I guess thats why they dont allow refunds. The entrance isnt really accessible and the bathroom deginitely isnt fyi. Filthy dirty bench top oven, poorly maintained bathroom, tv in room un watchable, poor signal on every channel. They claim they have room service, their isn't any. They mean that they clean the room after you go. I don't think they understand that isn't what room service is. No hook or towel rail in the small bathroom that you share with 3 other rooms. If someone else leaves water splashed around your clothes can't sit on bath tub edge without getting wet. There's no hook to hang your towel or clothing. They say they have amenities, they offer a super chemical stinky all in one shampoo & body wash. No conditioner, no products like normal places have. There's a fan / vent opening in the bathroom ceiling that's dirty & wires out of it but fan still works. Not sure how safe that is but it's up high anyway. There are small plates in kitchen, no dinner plate if you buy food & wish to use a plate. The fire extinguisher is in a cupboard, you wouldn't find it if you needed it. The outdoor patio advertised is only accessible from room #5, it isn't a shared space. The shower floor tiles have been roughly painted with white paint but around the border only. They look rather bad & it gives a derelict appearance. It's clear these people have a decent property however their lack of care, maintenance & attention to detail let's the place down. We also own an Air bnb & I am disappointed at the state of this place. I spoke to the owner in the morning, they weren't the slightest bit interested in the issues. Very dismissive. I think they just see dollars $$$

North Ryde Bewertung Our stay at North Ryde Guestbouse was lovely. We’ve received a very detailed message with clear instructions from the owner before arrival and it was super easy to access the room. We were very pleasantly surprised with the condition of our room, we found it to be SUPER clean and tidy in absolutely every corner, and no smells or anything. Also the shared bathroom and kitchen area was super clean and in great condition. This guesthouse feels very cozy and quiet which we value a lot, so we were very happy with our choice of staying here!

Someone with keys came into the room (accidentally?) before it was checkout time. We were out at 10:00am. probably a mistake, it happens!

Dust galour .cobwebs .spiders n bugs. public hair on shower .hair in bath tub drain .bath room ex fan completely blocked with Dust .door tracks dusty n mouldy .skirting boards dusty .fluff n dandruff on velour black bed head .carpet not vacumed .vinyl floors not swept. vacuum or Moped .cockie poo under microwave .kitchen sink waste black in colour .exstemly Grose.

Wifi was bad, I was next to the communal shower/bathroom which was loud.

Ensuite room, comfortable

I was needing somewhere cheaper than the city to stay for 2 nights, preferably with own ensuite. This place is good value for money as it's warm, clean, and with a very comfortable bed. Room has potential to be noisy if other house guests are loud, but rules are in place regarding noise. Check-in process easy

Access was excellent, room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Great to be so close to Macquarie University.

Noise in roof cavity above room needs to be fixed - seemed like an animal moving around (larger than a mouse). Also the TV remote didn't seem to work.

The location was a great price for the work we needed to do as well as leisure during our time off. Bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed staying in a relaxed, residential neighborhood. We are also used to sharing a bathroom but there was only one for 3 rooms. It did not pose an issue for us, but if all room were full it could have been difficult.

Host was called away on an emergency and left a message for us to get in, but we were unable to access the message. Fortunately a delivery and another guest arrived at the same time so we could access the house and our room. The first night there was a guest/resident who was in crisis and was yelling sporadically, keeping other guests awake and concerned about her well being.

It was everything we needed love the guesthouse feel & the bed was very comfy

Comfortable beds and airconditoning in the room

I noticed that there was only one melamine bowl. Should more than one resident wish to have cereal, then there were insufficient bowls available. Also am not sure that a melamine bowl could be used in a microwave. Thankfully I noticed a booklet of instructions for the microwave in a cupboard above the microwave, because my own microwave is very primitive by comparison, it being of 1984 vintage.
