Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean & modern, and beautifully soft towels in the bathroom. Thanks for the complimentary crisps :) Loved the look of the hotel, especially the bar & foyer, you would know it had been renovated fairly recently. We didn’t have breakfast but only have good things to say about dinner - fab to have a range if veggie options!

The only minor thing would be there were no bedside lights / softer lighting. So it’s big lights or nothing - maybe something to think about?

The staff were extremely kind and helpful.

The facilities did not merit the money I paid. The booking said that breakfast was included in the price - it wasn't.i paid almost £100 per night. The owners told me to book direct with them in future as that will be much cheaper than I paid going through Booking.com.

All the staff are excellent and really went out of their way to help us with problems with out rental car company and even make an overseas call for us on another problem. Brilliant!!!

It had good parking and staff were pleasant.

The bedroom had a small window that looked out onto roof mounted service units, this felt claustrophobic. Also, the room was very warm and with the window open the units were noisy and emitted kitchen smells.

Attentive, very friendly staff. Excellent food. Live entertainment every night in a large , stylish comfortable bar. Highly recommend. 1st class.

Window in room didn't close properly, not overly clean. Room cold. Evening dinner - table placed about 2 meters away from the entrance to the (facing) the toilets.

The Lansdowne was a lovely surprise mainly because of the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and management. They really made us feel welcome, that their main priority at all times was to ensure that we were happy and well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble - from proper Americanos delivered to our room or to take away, to lending us a laptop because my phone wouldn't connect with the 42" smart tv in our room. Also, the food is very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. The atmosphere in the lounge was very much that of a popular local spot as opposed to a quiet, half empty hotel bar. Really bustling, especially with 2 different acts of live music each evening - we were there for the weekend.

The only slight quibble is that ssome of the live music, although excellent, was a bit too loud. Then again, we could have gone into the restaurant instead of eating in the lounge, and it would have been quieter. If you are staying for more than two nights, you should be aware of the room layout, as there isn't a huge amount of storage space. We brought one big case for three nights and had no problems.

Kettle in the room for tea or coffee not a big deal as tea or coffee could be brought to your room complimentary of the hotel, and there was water and crisps in the room on arrival
