This is a very comfortable older home with everything we needed for 3 older couples. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used the outdoor grill. Very large living space and beautiful outdoor deck. The neighborhood is lovely, just minutes from the Broadmoor Hotel.
The only drawback is that 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs and the house appears as a ranch on the photos. Also due to the age of the house, the electrical system is older and the downstairs bathrooms are not equipped for using any hairdryers or curling irons.
Overall, very clean, very comfortable home and the hosts, Susan and Larry were so nice!
You will enjoy your stay here!

The Colorado Springs property we rented was a great home away from home. From the time we were greeted by the onsite caretaker to the hour of our departure, we had all we needed for our stay. This home is well equipped with everything we needed to host our children and grandchildren for five days. I love that the items we usually need to bring along of purchase when we arrive were there for us to use. (plenty of TP, paper towels and Kleenex!) The deer who visited the side yard were a special treat for our grandkids.While the layout of the home is different with a real maze of bedrooms downstairs, the master bedroom and ensuite bath are luxurious. Since our family members came and went based on their work schedules, everyone was comfortable with their overnight visits.The location of this property is amazing. We walked over to the massive Broadmoor Hotel property a few times during our stay. The hotel was being decked out for Christmas. Our only disappointment was that they did not light the outside tree lights while we were there. I'm guessing that this will not happen until after Thanksgiving. If you stay in this home, be sure to visit the amazing Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It is five minutes from the house and though small compared to other zoos we have visited, it is so much fun for adults and kids. Our family fully enjoyed our visit! My husband and I also visited the Olympic Museum about 10 minutes from the house. For those who have grown up watching the Olympic Games it is a real treat! Thanks for providing a great place for families to gather. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Colorado Springs.

We were in town from three different states to celebrate our grandson‘s first birthday. The home was big enough and well appointed to satisfy our large family with a variety of ages and tastes. Larry and Susan or phenomenal hosts and were incredibly responsive to our every need. The family that owns this property has thought of everything. We were very delighted with our stay.

We had a family vacation here, 4 couples. The house is old and charming. It is a little hard to navigate between the different bedrooms downstairs, but doable and contributed to the overall appeal of the house. We were there in early June, and never needed to use the heat or a/C, so can't comment on how effective that is. It's close proximity to the Broadmoor contributes to its overall appeal. Great place to stay.

This home was spotless! Kitchen was beautiful, Larry and Susan were AMAZING! Communication was so easy and prompt. Beds were awesome, sheets super soft, and the towels were great. Deck is spacious and has a lovely view. Living room was so comfy. This is a 10/10 stay, definitely book, it’s a wonderful stay.

Our stay for a wedding at the Broadmoor was absolutely incredible. The place was spotless!! We had on call service that was top notch. We had the best stay we could have imagined. The beds were AMAZING! Sheets were super soft, and the towels were beautiful. Also, you’re steps from the Broadmoor, and hiking, and a million other wonderful things. 10/10 recommend. Don’t miss this rental!

The location was perfect -- within 15 minutes to all of the sites we wanted to visit (the Cheyenne Mtn Zoo, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor, UCCS, Old CO City, etc.). We were also close to many great eateries. The house was truly perfect -- my parents took the king bed downstairs, my 3 teenaged boys each stayed in their own beds downstairs, and my husband and I had the king bed on the main floor -- plenty of room for all of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The house is unique, with doors everywhere, cool nooks and crannies, and lovely stained glass windows. We ate breakfast on the deck every morning -- it was so nice and peaceful. We would totally stay there again.

Location is perfect if you have a conference at the Broadmoor
Beautiful home with lots of privacy if you are traveling with two families or two parties for business. We were met at the property by the owner's representative, given the grand tour, handed the keys and then a perfect stay just seemed to fall into place.

I would definitely book this home again and would highly recommend it. (my only "very small" complaint was a relative lack of power outlets... and 3 prong outlets... but this is an older home). Again, Overall, a very nice home very close to hiking trails and mountain bike trails right up against the mountains.

This is an AMAZING home!! It is beautiful, lots and lots of room!!!!! This home is right by the Broadmoor Hotel, which is beautiful!!!! You are also about 15 to 20 minutes to Pikes Peak, The Garden of the Gods, The Cave of the Winds, The Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Manitou Springs shopping. The care takers are very helpful and friendly, We will definitely return!!!!

This was an amazing older home that was kept up beautifully. The area was wonderful and right next to the Boardmore. Plenty of beautiful scenery and wildlife was all around us. our family plans to stay here again‼️ 👍�🏻�

Beautiful, roomy house with lots of space for our family to spread out.
We loved the house! It was well-equipped and very comfortable. It is much bigger than it looks from the outside, so much so that I got lost inside in the first day we were there! The house is beautifully furnished and has lots of conveniences and luxuries, such as a washer and dryer with detergent provided, a well-equipped kitchen, a large gas grill on the deck, whirlpool tub in the master bedroom, multiple televisions with a varied cable package, and two staircases to the bedrooms in the lower level, so that we could go up and down without disturbing the person sleeping in the "pass-through room". The house was plenty big for our eight family members, with plenty of beds and areas for relaxing. We loved the large deck. There were lots of tables and chairs available for eating inside and out. The neighborhood was beautiful and we enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood in general and on the grounds of the nearby Broadmoor Hotel. The house was close to the zoo and also great hiking trails. Larry and Susan, the caretakers, were responsive to our questions and suggestions. One suggestions was that the bathroom downstairs adjoining the bedroom with two queen beds is in need to more towel racks and shelves. There was only one towel rack for a bathroom being used by four people. That bedroom also needs a dresser or shelf (or two), as there is really very little room for spreading out suitcases. Overall, our experience was great and we would wholeheartedly recommend this house!
