The fact that we have to tell more than 3 hours since advance what we’re gonna have for lunch or dinner I don’t like it. That’s the only bad thing in the resort

The island is beautiful. The food was very good. We saw whales swimming very close to the island while we were eating breakfast - wonderful! Most of the staff was excellent.

Our hostess who first spoke to the group seemed bored, and didn't explain the options that we had while waiting for the room to be ready. We were told on arrival that the chitra were terrible in July and they go through the screens in the tents. So we all moved into a bungalow. The ferry ride was 2.5 hours, not 1.5 as advertised.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, the two available beaches were very beautiful, our room and all the facilities were very beautiful and without any luxury. We were given a room with a king size bed for the three of us (my wife, my daughter and I) and it was super confortable. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and healthy, the cook and staff were always very kind with us.

Not that I didn’t like but regarding the prices in the restaurant, the food prices seemed acceptable but the national beer price was too high in my opinion.

My husband and I fully enjoyed our weekends at Sonny island resort. All the staffs are friendly and kind. We stayed at the cabin, it was clean and cosy. The resort offers towels, soap and shampoo. The private cabins have toilet and shower. The bed was comfortable, and you can use air conditioning from 8pm to 8am. And there is a ceiling fan in the cabin. We use the air conditioning only few hours when we sleep with the fan. The island is full of sea breeze...we don’t feel hot or humid. The beaches are all around the resort, you can swim with many different fishes. We saw sharks, big ray, many many small and medium size fishes and star fish!! You can find many pretty colorful shells on the beach as well. Sonny island resort is only one property on the island, so you eat and drink at the resort only! But the foods are delicious and we loved all they served. I love their Pina-colada! We brought 4liter of water ourselves, so we could hydrate all the time. You can buy water from the resort but I think at least you can bring your own water from the city. ;-) We definitely will come back for holidays and weekends. I actually want to live in the sonny island resort. :-D

The structure is very modern, and eco-friendly. The staff is very kindly and available. The position is unique.
