Breakfast was very nice with enough varieties for everyone! And delicious too!

An over all update of the whole place would be even better. We are old timers and stayed at this place 30 years ago with fond memories. The black sand beach nearby needs a clean up.

food at the Chinese restaurant is good, portion is big, need to share. breakfast at the cafe Panaroma is good, service is prompt.

pillow can be better, too flat. there was people smoking in their room. which is unpleasant when we have to walk past to get to our rooms

The breakfast was good. The rooms are very spacious, yet a bit bare. The pool we didn't try, was raining.

This hotel needs a big renovation. The carpet and the balconies needs a major upgrade; the balconies need to be furnished to make you want to just sit there and drink wine and hang and relax, or even order room service breakfast to eat in that balcony to enjoy the sunrise. I was hoping for a spa or massage but was disappointed. This could be a great hotel, can be a retreat of some sort, but need to renew and upgrade. Oh and the upper floor corridors can be better lit.

It was clean but does need redecorating as looking a bit shabby. Very spacious and staff very helpful indeed

loud music from pool bar. the pool is a so beautiful and peaceful during the day dance music spoils it.

Large room and bed.

Room tired and old. bedside console didn't work properly. Cover peeling off. Air con can't change or turn off. Shower head didn't work properly. Both card keys failed first night. Breakfast disappointing and unclear about charges.

Room, was ok, breakfast was decent and pool was good.

I think the fact that they classify the Hotel as a 5 star but in reality it's not. The paint in the room and balcony was very old and some of the staff were not that experienced. Not all staff were like this but some were.

It is a beautiful property, far away from the crowds of the casinos, with huge and comfortable rooms. The staff were very polite and helpful, and actually gave us a room upgrade and free wine for our stay!

The property is clearly a bit old - but that's not a problem since it is charming and nostalgic in its own way. The only issue is bus connectivity - it would be useful to have more frequent shuttle buses from the property to the popular parts of Macau, or even Coloane village.

breakfast offers wide variety of food. outdoor swimming pool was newly renovated. indoor pool has warm water so its like a spa. a relaxing hotel. everytime we go to macau, we stay in this hotel. its beautiful, spacious and relaxing. once u step into this hotel, you will feel the ambience. outdoor playground for younger kids is fun. kids also enjoy having a walk by the seaside, playing between rocks. the room offers mini bar (tea and coffee). with this price, i think its totally worth it.

i wish they offer shuttle from golden bus station. but calling a taxi was also easy. restaurants nearby is always full so we need get to places a bit far away.

The room was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and spacious. It's like it's right out of the 70s. They really made us feel welcomed on our anniversary. It's quiet and removed form most of Macau, but that's part of the charm.

The transportation to the Venetian could be a little more frequent.

Very convenient for golfers

The public transportation network was poor. The hotel should provide free shuttle bus service several times a day and EVERYDAY, not just on the weekend. Even the taxi companies didn’t respond to our requests when the concierge called for us.

Really lovely helpful staff. The lady on the egg station had no English and but she quite quickly got someone to translate for her. The Eggs Benedict were well made, very good sauce, would be better to toast the muffin though. The room was very clean, huge and good balcony. I suggest some shade to sit under and more regular watering of the plants will make the balcony more appealing.
