all fantastic from staff to quality and service

The hotel was centrally located in Futian, easy access to malls and restaurants. As always, the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful.

Every aspect was above average, if must mention something that wasn’t my preference then it would be the strong fragrance at the lobby.

We have stayed at the Shangri-La in Futian a number of times now and have always enjoyed our time there. Check-in is always very smooth and the staff are welcoming and attentive to our needs. We enjoy the hotel's quiet and calm atmosphere even though it is in the centre of the city. The Chi Spa treatments are always exceptional too. There is always a good variety of food and drink to suit any appetite.

We choose to stay in the Horizon Club rooms when we visit and enjoy the welcome fruit platter and bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival. This time there wasn't any fruit or wine and when they delivered it later the fruit platter was very basic.

The room is great, very comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, nice relaxing bathtub, very clean, amazing view. The lounge is great and with good option for food and drinks. The location is excellent, just downtown with lots of food, bars and shopping options just outside the main door.

The only issue I have with the hotel is that besides the Lounge staff, the rest of the staff barely speaks any English. I tried to call costumer service to ask a question, nobody could answer me. For a Shangri-la hotel, it would be expected that the main staff would have better English skills.

Magnificent Hotel. Attention to detail so spot on ! If you love views great if you love sauna, steam, hot pool great even the breakfast had soft or crispy bacon.

- Sadly spa and pool area were closed due to COVID restrictions. What I did not like: I used filter criteria spa, pool, 4 diamonds, 5 diamonds on booking.com -> it even wasn’t mentioned at the check-in that these areas are temporary closed. Therefore, hotel was totally overpriced for my stay. - If I was informed at the check-in counter I wouldn’t have checked-in for that price.

It was a fantastic weekend away. The location is perfect, the room is comfortable. The staff are amazing, at the convierge the manager and the staff were very helpful. The Café Zen and the Shang Garden restaurants are great, with nice staff and good food.

The buffet it´s expensive, but well cooked.

I don't usually write reviews, but this hotel warrants a glowing one. It was a fantastic weekend away. The hotel is in the perfect location, room is comfortable. Amazing views. Great saunas and hot tub and pool; amazing gym. Staff that couldn't do enough to make me happy. Thanks to Peter and all of the staff in the Horizon Club. Highly recommend upgrading to Horizon on arrival. You don't need to ever leave the hotel if you just want to relax. Can't wait to return!

A couple things to update - the hair dryer in the room and could use a coffee machine - instant doesn't thrill anyone. Lastly the two little night lights beside the bed need to die. I had to cover them up with calendars.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is well informed. Being American in China, I found navigating from the location easy and convenient. I recommend upgrading to have access to the lounge.

Perfect location, quiet and yet convenient. Just steps away from the subway and high-speed railway to everywhere in China.
