I reached to the hotel in the morning after whole night travel. I have called to holiday inn helpline in the one day before that I need early check in and paid the required amount still when I reached to hotel in the morning hotel staff denied to provide the accommodation and I have to wait 2 hours in lobby.

The hotel is decent value for money, and the location is very good (these were the primary reason for us to pick Holiday Inn Express). The hotel premises although no-frills, are very clean and maintained in good condition (didn't see any leakage, peeling paint etc.) The staff is very efficient, helpful and non-intrusive. The check-in and check-out experience was very very quick, efficient and smooth. All in all it's a hotel-chain experience without the hotel-chain prices.

The fittings in the rooms could do with some improvement. They seemed pretty tacky and low quality (bathroom door handles, latch, commode) which spoils the experience of the room which otherwise is quite nicely designed. But the bigger area of concern is the food (we only had the breakfast so can only comment on that). It's not the spread / variety that is the concern, but the quality of food. The sambar was watered down and pretty tasteless. The boiled egg sandwiches hardly had any egg at all. And pre-cooked omelettes just didn't work - rubbery, and cold. On the other hand, the poha, idlis and the rest was all great. It might be better to have fewer things, but do them well. Things like omelette have to be freshly made. If it isn't possible leave them off the menu and have scrambled eggs or boiled eggs instead.

Room sizes were too small. Washrooms are below standards and this definitely is not a place for family to stay with comfort.

Wooow! So clean! Comfortable bed, hot good hand shower, tasty breakfast and dinner, friendly and helpful hotel stuff, good WiFi connection, separate toilet and shower, perfect AC. We really enjoyed to stay there!

Everything about the hotel is great. Food, free laundry, service, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, comfortable and functional rooms. The rooms are small but well designed for everything you may need. I loved the shampoo, hand wash, body was as well - very high quality. I really appreciated that Holiday Inn Express is inclusive in their employment opportunity and have staff with hearing and speech impairments.

I found the food to be a bit spicy. If they can make the food more homely it would be icing on the cake for long stay travellers like me who travel a lot for work.
