Amazing location with very friendly Esther that went out of her way . Really VIP hosting . Fantastic views and spacious.

Electric blanket switched on but didn't heat up. Freeeeeeezing cold . Was disappointed to see no perimeter fence or beams of any sort since of security as I am in the security fencing industry. At least a 1200mm high fence with beams would be great for a peace of mind at night .

Esther was very welcoming and accommodating. She let me come early and was easily contactable. She also explained about load shedding. I was the only guest that night, so I had the whole place to myself. The living area and kitchen were communal, which I hadn't fully appreciated when I first booked. The bedroom was lovely with doors to the veranda, and the views were breathtaking. Both front and back. I didn't go in, but the pool looked very inviting! The housekeeper offered to carry my bags to my car, which I declined, but then Esther kindly asked the gardener to take my case! A very pleasant stop over.

The whole lodge needed a little bit of TLC. The cupboard units , shower, etc. were looking a little tired.

Everything! Kind reception. Clean kitchen to use. Even the tea towels were clean. That means a lot to me.

I think the room can get quite hot. I had to open windows and get fresh air in on arrival. But that may have to do with the fact that the house is made of wood.

Fantastic nights stay. Host was very friendly and helpful. The views are absolutely stunning. The villa was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a 2 large families. We would most certainly stay again.

the easy access from the road entrance to knysna- the parking - all amenities offered at the property- from pool to bbq to full kitchen

while we were given torches for loadshed, it would be good to have some extra powered lighting at night-especially from a security point of view for the Manager as well as the guests

An absolute gem of a property! Our host, Esther was so warm and welcoming, and so was the rest of the staff. The property is right on Knysna River, so the view is great. There's also a large shared kitchen and scullery fully equipped with everything you'd need during your stay. Ample plug points around the house were a plus.

Absolutely stunning. The property sits on its own, totally unique and immersed in the bay. The sheer beauty is next level, catching both sunrise and sunset.

The Tv's weren't working and the wifi was out of range from the room.

It has an incredible view and the fact that every room has an en-suite is lovely!

We were without electricity for 2 days of our stay. The owner should look into installing an inverter or a generator.

during winter rather have all the rooms with electric blankets . The rooms were extremely cold.

AS SPORTS FANATICS WE WERE DISAPPOINTED THAT THERE WASN'T A FULL SPECTRUM OF DSTV TV CHANELS, WE HAD TO LEAVE THE HOUSE TO TRY AND LOCATE A TV THAT WOULD SHOW THE RUGBY.

The place was very nice nd neat. My room was big nd comfortable. They had evtrhing we needed kitchen has evtrhing we came as couples so we loved evrthing.the owner was very nice to us.if u r looking 4 accommodation as group of frnds would really recommend this place

Amazing property! Beautiful, well stocked, comfortable, quiet place to stay. Spacious rooms, amazing views of Knysna. Esther and cleaning staff are brilliant and friendly.
