parking lot is a bit confusing

Location: lots of green space and peaceful gardens to stroll around; quiet location. Food: we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Chapters and the food was great. The Wen Shan green tea we ordered was really amazing. Artwork: we loved the artwork inside the hotel. Staff: very thorough, prompt and courteous service. The bathroom facilities like the shower are amazing and very clean and spacious.

We had to wait a bit to check-in and it’s the first time ever we had to wait to check into a hotel; we’ve stayed at many hotels before, so we were a bit puzzled. Maybe there was shortage of staff. But eventually a gentleman helped us check in and apologized for making us wait. So it’s fine.

Modern and clean offering a wide selection of books for the avid reader, Eslite Hotel Taipei wowed in terms of the quality breakfast offered at its cosy Chapter restaurant and sealed my stamp of approval with the Aveda Rosemary Mint range of toiletries and Dyson dryer in the bathroom. The staff was warm, attentive from the concierge to reception to expedient housekeeping.

Nothing except the 8 min walking distance to xinyi shopping district which in the rainy weather we experienced on our trip was a mild inconvenience but in lovely weather would have been wonderful exercise.

Friendly staffs; amazing service; location was perfect for us; room was amazing; very clean and comfortable. Always love eslite bookstore and this is our first time staying here and will definitely be back!!

excellent staffs

My room has a smell if previous tenent(s) had smoked in the room! Hotel provided air cleaner but didn’t help.

Everything was amazing. The view of the Xinyi district and the large rooms were extraordinarily. We also got a free upgrade to a beautiful large room with a fantastic balcony. The staff had amazingly kind service.

It was a little out of the way and walking to the nearest subway stops can take a while. There was construction going on at the domed structure next door.

As usual, always a pleasant weekend get-away staycation place. Spacious room and bed, bathroom. Exquisite breakfast choices. Tons of book selections that make the place not just a hotel.

Checking-in takes a long queue. In order to fit the “class and scene setting” of the hotel, perhaps can offer 號碼牌 / calling number ticket so guests don’t have to queue up (since it is not a very *classic* look for the hotel ambience).
