It was smooth process! And our stay was awesome! Thank you for sharing your place!! It was a gift and a blessing! It was truly heart warming to be there! A calm place for a retreat! We will return!

First the practical stuff. Like everyone else said, bring sheets, towels, and hand towels for 4 bathrooms & the kitchen. Bring hand soap/ dish soap. All kitchen cookware/ dishes & cutting boards are there. Bring a sharp knife though. There are many knives but none are sharp. All beds have pillows & blankets. We found extra blankets in the laundry room. This is an amazing house in a spectacular location. The house, pool, and deck are directly on the water. And the pool was still open for us on October 24th! There are Adirondacks and a table with chairs on the pool deck. You need to bring folding chairs for the upper decks if you'd like to sit out there as all have amazing views. There is a deck at the very top of the house accessed by a little ladder. Cool! This house has so many places to relax and hang out -- terrific for a big group. We cooked great meals, played pool & ping pong, and went for a walk on the beach. We even played hide and seek in the house and couldn't find one adult for 20 minutes. Also, bring a piano player if you have one! There is a nice little seating area around the piano on the second floor just made for a rousing sing-along. You will love his house. We cannot wait to go back in another season. The owner David is super and will respond quickly to any questions or issues. Thanks very much!!

David's place was perfect for an end of summer weekend. Plenty of space and the private dock was great for some end of season crabbing. Would definitely stay here again.

Our covid vaca instead if Disney, boohoo, but we really enjoyed our time at 200 sunset. Home was really fun and spacious. Loved being on bay with the dock and pool. End of season and weather was unseasonably cold but we just enjoyed the house and game room, cooking and just hanging out. Kitchen was well appointed, we didn't get towel and sheet service and was fine but no pot holders. Kitchen has most everything else. Spices galore. Even a air fryer and lobster pot. No games or instructions for home or book to tell trash pick up and directions for clean up anywhere but David did reapond quickly when we asked. Worried a bit about crime rate in Seaside Heights but had no problems. Might go back but we usually like to go further for vacation, but being covid restricted, this was a great option. Thanks for a lovely time.

Gorgeous house-extremely spacious-well suited for large family vacations ! Relaxing outdoor space with fabulous views ! Great kitchen for the chef of the family ! Close to beach and boardwalk! Must stop at Bum Rogers for happy hour! A definite return !

Went to celebrate my mother's 50TH. Everything was great, the house looks even better and bigger in person. Theres a lot of space.

We had a great experience in this house, we usually rent a Seaside condo with a community pool but because of COVID we wanted a private pool, this house gave us that and so much more! The house was immaculate, kitchen was so well stocked that I wound up leaving my kitchen boxes packed most of the week. The owner is very nice, easy to talk to was available to us the entire stay. Although this house is a little out of our budget, we are trying to figure it out to set up a 2021 stay, the house is just so perfect! I highly recommend this house to any family looking for a house in a great location, close to everything, and including everything your family needs for a perfect week in Seaside.

I don’t know where to begin!! This house is just amazing!! Very clean and had everything to keep our group of all ages entertained. David the property owner is awesome. Any questions I had were answered immediately. We are definitely renting here again next year. To us there is no place better!!

My family has been renting at the Jersey shore for many years. As the family grew it became harder and harder to find the "right" house - until this year. This stunning house on Pelican Island has everything - cleanliness, space for all 16 of us, plenty of seating for everyone, plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans (which doesn't always happen.) The pool was clean and perfect. The private dock was great for crabbing. (We caught ALOT. The kids loved it.) The patio umbrella was broken. We reported it to the owner, and it was replaced the next day. We kayaked from the tiny beach that was part of the property. (We brought our own kayaks, just as an FYI.)The game room was awesome for the teens and pre-teens. The view from the upper deck is amazing. The living room is stunning and spacious. This house has it all. I am sure that we will be renting this house again in the future. The only thing we found to be lacking was an outdoor shower, especially when coming back from the beach. Not a deal breaker, just an observation. We had a great week. Thank you, David, for allowing us to gather as a family in this awesome property.

Davis home was not only beautiful but he went above and beyond answering any questions we had or concerns we mentioned to him. Renting summer houses in the past, this house had everything we needed to have a great time! Some people complained about bringing their own sheets on other reviews but we had no issues doing that. Our days were spent on the deck & in his pool or out on our jet skis in the bay that were were able to dock right in his backyard. The nights were a lot of fun in the game room and again sitting on the deck wnjoying every bit of the Seaside Heights air & views! Thank you David for a great week!!!!

Recommend for large families or groups. Very comfortable.

Only negative comment to share is that the house doesn't have towels. Perhaps this was in the fine print, but make sure to bring towels or you'll end up at Target buying them. And to be clear, this is all towels - needed to buy paper towels too.

My family and I had a great time.

We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and crabbing off of your dock. The 4 kids ranging in age from 7 to 11 loved the game room and had plenty of room to play hide and seek. The house is beautifully appointed and absolutely immaculate. The one thing I would suggest is to have some cleaning products available in the kitchen to wipe up spills and sticky fingers on the glass doors. David, as you already know, we will be returning next summer. I just need to go over the date with my daughter. Once again thank you for being a wonder and receptive host. Regards, Lois

Spent a week in mid-July for a pseudo family reunion with 15+ people in the home (mostly adults, a couple of kids) pros: 1) house is really large -- even with 15-20 people in the home at some times, there are so many areas inside/outside that you don't feel on top of one another at all. 6 bedroom with multiple pull-out couches as well. I don't think the pictures do the property justice in terms of all the space in the home 2) quiet enough (far enough from the boardwalk) to have some solace and serenity but close enough to be at the boardwalk in ~4-5mins. The best of both worlds. There is a tiny beach area and dock you can boat/fish off of so a lot of activity at the home and the pool is key (even if it is not fancy) just to cool down in fresh water 3) although others complained about no sheets on the bedding, David helped us out with new sheets because we were traveling from California - hopefully he leaves them there for others as I think it's a nuisance to have to get sheets 4) David is very responsive, cordial, and helpful 5) property is in pretty nice condition, probably 9ish/10. Minor items could be cleaned up (deck a little worn, lights missing from places (over pool table), etc... Minor cons: 1) no dish towels in the kitchen (not sure why) 2) no bath towels (not sure if this is common?) 3) no beach chairs (which can be taken to the beach)/beach umbrellas anywhere - heard from others on the trip that this is common to have at a beach rental 4) no cleaning supplies (not sure if this is common to have) anyway, minor cons that others in the group noticed were present at other rentals they enjoyed. Overall a great experience, a great home, and great owner. 9+/10

This house was unbelievable. A great spot for our girls reunion weekend. Plenty of space and a really excellent kitchen. David was a very responsive and friendly host. Can’t wait to find a reason to come back!
