The air conditioning was not that strong

The location and balcony were great.

The AC was turned off when we arrived just 4 hrs after someone checked out. It was SO hot when we arrived 28C/82 F and never cooled under 22C/72F. We roasted in the apt. The AC unit is around the corner from the bed so it’s hotter on the bed side of the room. The maid should have closed the shutters and kept the AC on because it was 36C/97F outside. The TV should be mounted on the wall with a swivel so you can view from couch and bed. The TV is on a mantle and faces neither the couch or bed. So we sat in kitchen chairs in the center of the room to watch a movie. And we had to sit one in front of the other. It is difficult to get in touch with the owner through email or booking.com. We finally had to call him. Not sure how much that cost us. It would have been nice if he was on WhatsApp and we knew it.

The host was fantastic. Location is AMAZING! We had the best time here sitting on the balcony and people watching.

I liked the location so much and the place was so beautiful, loved the toiletries so so much as well perfect to make us feel relaxed

There were a few bugs but i’m guessing from the dampness and the door fro the bathroom foes not need to be see through

Everything was so surprising - stunning!

The location of Suites Menaggio could not be any better. Centrally located just off the main Piazza, we were literally within a couple of minutes walk of all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, and most importantly, the stunningly beautiful Lake, which could be appreciated from our balcony. We were extremely fortunate during our stay to have entertainment each night in the Piazza (and Fireworks) that we were able to enjoy from the balcony, but if you aren't so lucky when you visit, you can be sure that the music from the excellent wine bar, Enoteca Re Di Quadri, located directly below the apartment, will provide a more than adequate substitute. The interior design has been exquisitely curated to project a sense of quality and timeless sophistication, and the space has been well thought out. The large balcony doors are double glazed, so should you wish for some quiet time, they will instantly block out the noise from the street. Communication prior to and during our stay was great. Alberto was always quick to respond to any questions or requests that we had. All in all, both Menaggio and Suites Menaggio exceeded our expectations, and we will return in the not too distant future, for sure.

The only tiny negative to our stay was that an Iron was not provided within the Suite. Alberto did provide us with the alternative solution of a couple of Launderettes in the village that provide an ironing service, but for convenience, it would've been great to have had an Iron to hand, or perhaps a steamer.

The suites are conveniently located in the centre of Menaggio. It is really spacious and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching a show in the square on the Friday evening. It is noise proof even though it is so central.

This was the most expensive accommodation during our trip to Italy, however I guess you pay for what you get.

Location was ideal and although there was a lively bar below, it was always quiet after approximately 9/9.30 so not disturbed by noise. Loved the balcony.

Maybe area in front of the shower needs attendance the flooring is very saturated from shower splashes and there is a faint smell of damp wood

The place is perfect and in the centre of Menaggio. Everything is good and a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. You can get ferry at the dock and the distance is about 400m from the apartment.

Tricky to find- grumpy lady from info centre showed us! Maybe something on door or photo with instructions Some extra bin liners so we could dispose of rubbish during our stay.

Having to carry the heavy luggage two sets of stairs up is never a pleasure, but I suppose nothing can be done about it!
